As for manga, try Love So Life. I know some people condemn the manga for being slow, but the slice of life element and the slow but realistic development in terms of romance make the manga a rare gem.
(really need that list sometime when i have the time) I have seen the first two, and I loved both of those, Aishteruze is one of my absolute favorites, I have not read that manga, and I'm fine with slow so I'll check it out, thanks

Whisper of the Heart would be a good choice.

Maybe Oh My Goddess or Maison Ikkoku?

Or Kimi No Todoke?
Haha Sackett you always seem to work in Maison Ikkoku into every romance thread kinda funny

School Rumble perhaps?

You should read Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga . It contains 4 romance stories , and the last 2 are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUTE. Each story is 5-7 chapters long and it will be worth your time (cute happy endings FTW)

Love so Life is great, it'll take a bit too good long chapters and a lot of chapters, School Rumble I have seen and read both, its good comedy for sure, I've seen Hyouka.

Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga I actually started last year when there wasn't much but forgot about it, thanks for putting it up!
