Sigh I feel bad for the author's passing but I don't know what was worse, that he actually killed off the parents or that he paired Sora and Yuta. I don't care that they are directly related but Yuta's blood niece is her blood sister, there still basically family as far as I am concerned. I would have been less annoyed with Miu because she was completely unrelated and actually had a good personality, with Sora was stereotypical Naru Love Hina clone.

It doesn't matter if they have someone (Hina) who is blood related to both of them because in the end Yuuta and Sora don't have any blood relation at all to each other.

After graduating from college Sora works as a music teacher and Miu goes to a college majoring in fashion.

I'm guessing in one of the illustrations with Miu crying on Yuuta and Yuuta holding her while trying to console her at the same time has something to do with Miu's biological father or her mother??? But wait a second from what I've been reading of the light novels there's no mention of Miu having another father and Shingo's her biological father.
