I watched the first ep. of Kampfer. I've never cared much for gender transformations, but, I must admit, I got a good laugh out of Natsuru's confusion about whether she should flip up her skirt or take it off the first time she uses the toilet in girl form. Worth watching for the voice cast alone, I suppose.

anyway late but grats to Hina! i didnt care who won so i didnt vote but it was like my #3 vs my #5 so either way i was gonna be happy with the finish.

That's not much of a point. I don't like voting for characters I don't know. And the whole hentai, red/blue bunch of BS pissed me off. Yeah, I'm touchy like that sometimes.

@wontaek - Just watched episode 1 of Kimi ni Todoke and it hooked me right off the bat. I loved it. What a perfect role for Noto-chan to play. I'll definitely be following it. Again, thanks for the suggestion.

And I'm in fair agreeance with Mushi. While aesthetics play some part in making a character moe, knowing their personality and seeing what they live through is a bigger part. So in that sense, familiarity is important in creating the moe vibe.

All I am going to say is this:

Exhibition matches are, per se, exhibition matches. Their only relationship to ISML is that they're being featured in concurrence with official ISML matches that we organize. As Killuan has pointed out, exhibition is nowhere in our 2009 rules, nor will they be in 2010. So ANYBODY within our choosing can participate in exhibition. In other words, this is our way to "bend the rules" to get some characters we want to feature based on our own whim while protecting the integrity of ISML as a whole. Exhibition matches are not official ISML matches - they are just there because we want them to be there.

Well, I'm not going to tell you what you find moe. But this is our tournament, and we will tell you how to vote. Obviously, that wasn't the case for this match. Next time, we'll be sure to have a force-vote code for certain arena, like Emerald 10.

Well, I guess several people, including I, evolved the joke little bit too far. I should have not said anything until the match is over in order for the voters to vote totally at their own whim. Let's not further discuss the exhibition match until the voting is over.

I am very glad that you liked Kimi ni Todoke. It was one of manga series my wife and I liked, and I'm glad its conversion into anime did not go badly. The animators sought to preserve more of Sawako's monologue even if it would mean less scenes for other characters. I believe this increase in focus in the main heroine worked because the voice actor is Noto Mamiko, who excels at speaking in contemplative tone. Hopefully, the anime series's quality will be maintained or even improve as time passes.
