Ichigo's mom is a Quincy and hence a descendant of Yhwach. And every Quincy has some 'spirit' of Yhwach inside them as explained in 565. Well Kubo still hasn't even bothered to officially define the limitations to Inoue's main ability. For all we know, she could end up being capable of exactly what you described.

I like Orihime as much as anybody (lots more than some, considering all the hate she gets from the rabid, butthurt Rukia shippers), but if the word "Bankai" ever crosses her lips in any manner other than third-party exposition or interrogative, I'm done with this manga.

whatever happened to inoue being hollowified? wasn't that eluded to several times in the HM arc? that might come into play since quincies are allergic to them. or maybe i'm just forgetting something that nullified that concept...

or Rukia took Senbonsakura as her bankai

and Byakuya got new bankai
