True. Lelouch's core was that of a good person. Circumstances "forced" him to be wicked and twisted. But you could see, that for his important people, he cared like 392839 mountains together.
He chose evil-persona with evil methods, to "fix" the evil in the world.

I wouldn't attribute it to be circumstances so much as I would the treatment from his father.

Well, you know what I meant. Besides, I think his ingenious mind didn't hurt his going over the deep end either.

Personally I think Sayoko should've been made Prime Minister, at least if her leadership skills are anything like her other skills.

They shouldn't have made anyone Prime Minister, the only person who was competent enough was Lelouch.

Lelouch died, C.C. became a farm girl, Kallen became a student, and most importantly, Suzaku became the new Zero. What a messed up ending. I still gave it a ten because I didn't expect that it was going to turn out this way. Say goodbye to Code Geass R3. The writers made a big mistake for killing Lelouch.

Not to mention the people who didn't have to atone for what they did. Ougi, Villetta, and Cornelia, for instance.

*Here still hoping for a new code geass entry to the series, with or without Lelouch (I would prefer without)*

Make every people atone was not part of Lelouch's goals.

But the story of those characters have a meaning. The meaning of it is to show that now there is no grudge anymore between Japan and Britannia. The marriage between Ougi and Villetta has a symbolic meaning.

Same about Cornelia who "lost" her Princess title. It shows the fall of the Britannia Empire. As she said to guilford when he said "Hime sama", "you's still calling me like that".

True, but Lelouch is not God, it is irrelevant to the point.
I think azul said it, like in a general "moral-justice" ground.
Like, by some chance or luck or whatever, people that might have deserved to pay, did not.

Considering that Cornelia was seen with Nunnaly, and Schneizel, I am pretty sure she is still a Princess, with Nunnaly as the Queen.

I could definaty see a sequel where Nunnaly gone mad with Power invades Japan as Ougi is helpless to stop her as his Ougi.

HAHA. What they didn't show us in the epilogue of S2 25, was Nunnally wrist snap flipping Ougi to the ground during their handshake in the historical broadcast meeting.

She then proceeds to tell Kallen what really happened in Turn 19 and that the Order betrayed him. The two then open up a can of whoop ass on everyone, leave for a while to hunt down C.C., gain Geass and then return to take over the world and shape it.

... Undoing everything Lelouch worked for, but was bound to happen anyway because the world doesn't work the way CG presents it. "We hate him, let's be happy forever!"

Ugh, she pretty much figured/knew what happened.

I don't think she knows the finer details. Notably that Ougi and Viletta spread false information and sold out Lelouch. Todou is understandable in his position since he knew nothing, but Viletta knew how Geass worked. Ougi and Viletta just waltzed in a more or less lied.

... If I were Kallen and I knew that, I'd punch both of them and hard.

They did not false information. The fact that Viletta was a [censored] {as usual} and Ohgi an idiot, had no relevance to the info in terms of Lelouch's actions. They just did not elaborate/looked into the meaning of his actions, most of the members. However, they did not "false" them.

^It's true. As critical as one can be toward them, they did not false anything.

I also think that Kallen understood that what she knew about Lelouch (his background, his family, more infos on geass and such) was something that was useless in terms of 'cleaning' Lelouch's image in the eyes of her comrades, moreover after his 'I lol at you my pawns' line in the hangar.
And, no, she seems not really willing to punch anyone, just emotionally crushed.
She's forgivefull, Kallen, her way...
