Spoiler for Some of my picks for Kirito's VA:

What about Josh Grelle, he's a pretty good voice actor as well.

Here is a dub cast I have thought up (will change my ideas a little latter):

Kirito: Todd Haberkorn
Asuna: Cristina Vee
Klein: Troy Baker
Silica: Sandy Fox, PERFECT LOLI VOICE!
Agil: Travis Willingham
Lisbeth: Laura Bailey
Sachi: Stephanie Sheh
Yui: Stephanie Sheh
Heathcliff: Liam O'Brien
Kuradeel: Keith Silverstein

Lyfa: Cassandra Lee
Sugou Nobuyuki: J. Michael Tatum
I would prefer Jason Liebrecht to do Kirito's voice based on his work in Tsubasa.

Well he would be an interesting choice for Kirito VA.
How would he do Kirito's voice?

From all the dubbed anime I watched, I've been a fan of his work. His work was Kenichi- History's strongest, Kazuya- Freezing, Akihisa Yoshii- Baka and Test, Tori from the Horizon series, and most recent new dub for Yuji in Shakugan no Shana season 2. His screams and personality sounds like it could fit Kirito's voice.

Well, I'm pretty much half way into the anime but here's some my thoughts for Asuna's voice actress if Sword Art Online gets dubbed:

Kari Wahlgren
Karen Strassman
Kate Higgins
Wendee Lee (Highly unlikely because she's doing ADR work for Bleach)

I know that there are other voice actress like Monica Rial, Caitlin Glass, Brina Palencia, Cherami Leigh and Jamie Marchi. But like them and all the others I have in mind who could possibly fit Asuna mainly work for Funimation and Sentai Filmworks. And that's the problem.

Funimation and Sentai Filmworks are based in Texas. While Aniplex USA is based in California.

Aniplex USA mainly works with Bang Zoom! Entertainment, also based in California, when it comes to English dubs. And for the 4 voice actresses I listed above mainly work for Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

Depends if Aniplex USA uses Bang Zoom! and decides if this is union or not. If it's non-union, Kari Wahlgren and Kate Higgins will be out of the list (as they are both union members). Wendee Lee and Karen Strassman are more likely to be in the dub if Sword Art Online is union or not (as they are both well-known to work in both union and non-union work). Even then, I sttil think Cristina Vee voice acting would be better for Asuna's English voice acting.

And speaking of which, what do you guys think of Sandy Fox voicing Silica. Here's a quick voice clip below of her voice acting as Marona from Phantom Brave (when I was trying to justify a dub for anohana):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu9IRxlTgzo

And now my round two on the fantasy dub cast:

Kirito: Todd Haberkorn
Asuna: Cristina Vee

Suguha Kirigaya: Christine Marie Cabanos
Klein: Troy Baker
Agil: Travis Willingham
Silica: Sandy Fox PERFECT LOLI VOICE
Lizbeth: Laura Bailey
Recon: Johnny Yong Bosch
Kayaba Akihiko/Heathcliff: Liam O'Brien
Nobuyuki Sugou/Fairy King Oberon: Kyle Hebert (have him use two kinds of voice. Sugou more resembling to Aizen from Bleach and for Ezreal from League of Legends for Oberon).

Diabel: Vic Mignogna
Kibaou: Kyle Hebert
Keita: Johnny Yong Bosch
Sachi: Stephanie Sheh
Tetsuo: Yuri Lowenthal
Sasamaru: Sam Riegel
Ducker: Bryce Papenbrook
Thinker: Yuri Lowenthal
Yuller: Laura Post

Argo: Kira Buckland
Rosalia: Tara Platt
Griselda: Bridget Hoffman
Godrey: Patrick Seitz
Grimlock/PoH/SRed-Eyed XaXa/Johnny Black: Adam Harrington
Kuradeel: Keith Silverstein
Eugene: Patrick Seitz
Sigurd: Lex Lang
Sakuya: Tara Platt
Alicia Rue: Kira Buckland
Kagemune: David Vincent

Aniplex, right?

If we're sticking to Aniplex usable actors, then...

Kirito: Vic Mignona
Asuna: Michelle Ruff
Lyfa/Suguha: Christina Vee
Yui: Bridget Hoffman
Klein: Tony Oliver
Agil: Michael McConnohie
Heathcliff: Crispin Freeman
Silica: Mela Lee
Lizbeth: Kari Wahlgren
Sachi: Carrie Savage
Kuradeel: Jamieson Price
Oberon: Liam O'Brien
Recon: Mona Marshall

Stephanie Sheh as Sachi...

I don't know, I somewhat feel that Carrie Savage might fit better. Listen to her role as Mika Harima from Durarara! Or her other roles, like:

Solty (Solty Rei)
Satori Azuma (Bamboo Blade)
Kaede (Shuffle!)
Mokona (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles)
Ichijou (School Rumble)

I know that these are all Funimation titles, and Funimation's in Texas. But recently, Carrie Savage resides in the Los Angeles area. Which is probably why she's able to do her role as Mika Harima from Durarara! Another anime title that's licensed by Aniplex USA.

Yes, you're right, Carrie Savage would be better. She's pretty much free-lance, like Vic, so there wouldn't really be any problems with it, either.

Todd Haberkorn would be perfect for Kirito! I really really like Vic, but his voice is to ..distinct for introverted Kirito. Todd on the other hand would have the perfect tone.

Todd Haberkorn works for Funimation. Vic is freelance, as I mentioned in my last post, so he'd be a thousand times easier to obtain and keep a schedule with. Not to mention, he has way more experience, and better range. In an action-based role, where you have to voice not just your dialogue but various grunts, screams, etc., I'd much rather trust Vic than Todd anyway.

Actually, most voice actors tend to be freelance, even ones who are Funimation "regulars." That includes Todd Haberkorn. Heck, he even recently moved to Los Angeles to seek more opportunities other than Funimation and even have an anime role there in the Nura dub (under the alias "Todd Stone"). It's also not uncommon for voice acting to have some degree cross-region casting. An example of this will be Street Fighter X Tekken.

Also, it's not uncommon for many voice actors who work with Funimation that will later eventually move to Los Angeles. Not only Vic Mignogna, but also Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, Kyle Hebert, and Troy Baker (particularly the last guy since he's now more of a video game voice actor and rarely get anime roles nowadays across from reprising the said video game role in the anime adaption).

And by the way, both Vic Mignogna and Todd Haberkorn have wide vocal ranges. It's just I think Todd's voice acting fits better as Kirito in addition to his usual protagonist typecast.

And what about the idea of Sandy Fox (known to voice Flonne in Disgaea and Marona in Phantom Brave) voicing the token loli Silica?

If you want introverted, then Yuri Lowenthal would be your solution. At least, I think so.

Yuri sounds way too old for Kirito's age, introvert or no. Not the best choice for him, if you ask me.

Not to mention that Yuri's typecast is completely different now (angsty characters who are either stoic, introverted, or an extremist). The protagonist "kid hero" typecast is now held by Bryce Papenbrook (though I think Todd Haberkorn is better as Kirito).

That was David Matranga, and with all due respect, I don't think he would be a good fit for kirito's VA. Not to say he is a bad VA, but I do think his voice would be a mismatch for Kirito.
