I wish the following two things happened:
1. They announce an anime based on this manga. 2. One of the crew/cast members come out (preferably Tohru Furuya ) and admit this is how it really happened I know it's never going to happen.

Just read chapter 4. You've gotta laugh that they portray the program director as a loli, but I also like the reference to the fact that originally the Gundam was just going to be all white (We later see this in the G-3 Gundam) but that they had to make it the famous White, Red, Blue and Yellow colour scheme we have now.
Also as we all know the Zaku became a legend in it's own right. That'll show that dastardly Bandai sponsor. The design for the Zaku that Tomino handed Ookawara (who bares a startling resemblance to Kashmir Bale from Overman King Gainer by the way) to fix looks like a machine beast which is hilarious. I also liked how they pointed out the fact that a grunt of the week reappearing even once outside of a combination into a bigger grunt was all but unheard of back in the super robot days. The fact that the Zaku was even in episodes 1 and 2 back to back was a major breakthrough. I wonder how much of else of this is true (if that really was the original design for the Zaku I mean), but I do know that the Gundam was orignally going to be the "Gunboy" and the design just looked beyond terrible compared to what we got. Edit: Man I also love chapter 5 and all the references to the now classic anime that were airing at the time. It's true, Daitarn 3 would have just been finishing it's run around then and Gundam would have had trouble against Sentai shows like Toei's Battle Fever J. It was just too ahead of it's time as people already know now by the fact that it was cancelled. Still, cool to see the portrayal of how the staff might have reacted to the first episode. The newest chapter's been out for two days. Nothing special though, there was only one page that stood out and made me laugh, that was when Tomino comes back from the hospital. I think I know why Tomino had bouts of depression, perfectly summarized in this chapter.

Ever since I saw Keiko Han in the last chapter she's been showing up as a VA in every show I go to watch. This is made stranger by the fact that she hasn't really been in anything since the 90's. Well there was her role as the narrator in Tytania and I'm hoping that now that Tohru Furuya and a lot of the old legends seem to be coming out of retirement that she will too. Maybe a role in Unicorn awaits her.
