it is over 150 members, only about 5 countires have any real power.

Did you even complete my homework assigment? Errr, im gonna have to hold you back.

now find out how much money the other countires give, and get back to me.

Cant do much if you dont have the money.

edit: oh, and not only does the goverment gives money, but american citizens also, e.g. ted turner.

and notice this stat:Humanitarian/Human Rights - 39%

And the UN didnt agree to shit if you've been paying attention to the news, not 1 UN solider set foot in this iraq war yet.

as you already know, US doesnt need the UN's approval for starting a war. hell, the president doesnt even need congress' approval for starting a war.

US can simply cut funding and maybe kick them out of new york, but they dont, because the UN does more than just "keeping the peace" be.

They need them to keep peace when, hopefully, US troops pull out.

The U.S. DID want the U.N. approval for the war, and fought hard to get it. Which they DID get becuase they gave them the reason that iraq had "weapons of mass destruction" (which turned out to be false) So i dont know what your talking about. Maby you mean that the U.N. did not support them with troops and thus thought they did not support them initially.

O.K let me start off by saying I am not in any way PRO-American, I hate the U.S government as much as I hate the Canadian, Mexican, all European, African ect. ect. governments. Every single one of them are corrupt. I think most people who blame all the worlds problems on one country are just being ignorant. If the U.S were to fall tomorrow and any other government of the world was to take their place as the number one superpower, absolutley nothing would be better.

But let me ask you this wnkryo. All other things aside about how you feel about the U.S government and their obvious alterier motives, do you think it would be better for the people of Iraq to be in the situation they are in now, or in the same situation they were in for the last few decades?

Personally I think the U.S is the lesser of two evils.

FinFangFoom i respect you alot so let me respectably answer your question: Yes and no. I do think that U.S. invaded and killed many people for their own personal gain, and they hardly care about the iraqies or how they were being treated becuase alot of people in the world are being treated much worse but america wouldnt never start to help thier lives be any better (becuase once again thier is no profit for the U.S. if they did). But i also believe america did improve some of the living conditions of the iraqs, and that they are now in a somewhat better life stlye then they were before. Still, i have more mixed thoughts about it, and it seems i would lean more towards disagree with this what the U.S. did then approving.

O.K first before I respond, did anyone see the intro for the new episode of the Simpsons (just aired 20 seconds ago) I had Homer as Utra-man, and Bart as Astro Boy, did'nt see who the other three were

I guess I can understand where you are coming from wnkryo , I don't believe that the end always justifies the means, and the U.S is doing a lot of harm over there also, and are certainly going to make sure that Bush and his friends in the oil business cash in big time. I really don't know for sure if it's worth replacing a evil dictator who is raping your country from within for a stupid (and probably evil also) president that is raping your country from accross the globe .

Man it's hard to talk (type) politics and laught at Simpsons at the same time Need to pop in some Propagandi (canada's #1 America (including Canada) hating political punk band).

Oh god, I hope just cause Saddam was caught, it wont automatically mean another term for Bush.

For rejecting the Kyoto pact, I will never forgive him!!

Economy getting better, Saddam being captured, if either WMD are found or job rates go up, he's already won the election. Personally, I think that Clinton got the last of the "WMD" when he bombed Baghdad a few years ago.

Cool down guys. The capture of Saddam is a good news. On the other hand, it may not. I won't really comment on U.S liberating Iraq or get rid of "evil" or such stuffs. What has happened had already happened and we can't do much bout it. In a war, it is the people that suffered the most, not to mention how many soldiers are killed...

The recession is over, the economy is taking off again, Sadam got captured, and the democrats don't have any worthwhile candidates .... which basically guarantees that Bush will get re-elected.

And I wouldn't would think to much of the Kyoto protocol because Russia is about to reject it and Canada might reject it as well. Therefore making it completely worthless.

Personally, i'm interested to see how they are going to try Saddam. It would be cool if they let the Iraqi's handle it.

I don't care if Saddam's been caught but Bush won't be winning another election. Actually, I'm relieved he's caught. Bush is retarded eventhough he's our president. I want Clinton as the president again and bring coolness back to the US.

Democrates have no good representatives for the 2004 election. Bush is most likely to win because he is the sitting president.

And yes, people are stupid enough to vote for Bush a second term just because of the Saddam thing.

We are in a resession, wow. Did anyone feel it. I can't even tell that the resession is over. (this is very sarcastic)

And reason US troopers are over there is to secure a new market to sell american good, and since the iraqies make alll the money off it, they might aswell by Gap clothing, Buicks, Windows, and HPs.

Anyone who says the US is just there for cheap oil is as smart as Bill & Ted and has a weak mind.

The democrats have just been using the economy and the stalled situation in Iraq as a way to make people lose trust in the Republican party. Now that the DOW is shooting up and the economy is getting out of its hole, along with the capture of Saddam, they don't have much material left for the blame game.

I don't like any of the democrats or republicans that are running, so I guess that leaves me with Nader. A vote for Nader is a vote for the Ralphinator, and the Ralphinator can get things done!

Canada is still planning to implementing the plan. The fact is the "provinical governments" doesnt want to be in the plan while the federal government wants to uphold it. We will see who win at the end. But for now the plan has receive the green light.

As for Russia their econ is already bad enough already (even though they may be seeing the end of their recession). Kyoto Agreement will kill them (literally, not that i dont support the agreement.).
