Looks to me that her arm is under the greaves not through it... just like the other arm it's above the armor and not through it either. Suppose one could interrupt it differently though.

My problem with it is the chibish look which Claymore itself seems to try to avoid. In short it's not cute enough for it to be truly chibi and not serious enough for Claymore.

That person is very good in my opinion, it gives it kind of a 3D look to me!
