Nice news. Here hoping it won't be the same as first season where the anime was announced but the anime comes a bit later.

I don't think it will come over a year after it was first announced just like the first season. Some of the key visuals for the 2nd season had just been revealed so it will probably be either Spring or Summer 2014.

If you're talking the PV that was in the end of the 12th episode then yes...

... but right now we're waiting for new PV if any.

I'm actually quite stoked for this, because this time there's more room for a better adaptation, considering it's going for one less volume than the previous season.

Awesome news. Can't wait for more Kurumi and the new spirits, especially the Yamai twins and their antics.

So how many volumes do you guys think they will adapt this season? And how many eps for each? I think they will only go up to volume 7. If they do adapt 3 volumes, 4 eps each should be enough without any rushing.

The PV does give a good indicator - volume 7 is about right. Nice way to end the season as well because it concludes a big arc.

I most definitely want to see the twins squabble over Shidou. It's going to be hilarious.

3 volumes(from 5 to 7) since vol.8 is another arc along with vol.9.

Seeing that the 8th volume is a 2-parter, it's quite unlikely they'll cover until that. Covering up to the 7th is more of a possibilty. As to how they would bridge between the Yamai arc and the next one, one of the side-stories might fill the gap.

Just my guess.

I hope there will be some changes though, the background music in the first season wasn't good. It often didn't match the mood of the scene, honestly, it was annoying.

Hmm, stumbled on this series due to Inoue Marina and Taketatsu Ayana. Guess, by the reaction on this forum concerning a sequel I should give it a shot.
