That be the F4 Phantom .F14 is the Tomcat, used most famously in the Top Gun movie The aircraft in the background is a Russian Mig BTW, can't remember the designation though, been a long time (14 years or so) since I was into aircraft at all.

It really IS a kickass aircraft. Still one of my favs. Although that new F-22 Raptor is pretty fucking... pretty.

Been a while since I have updated my desktop and I'm pretty happy with my current one.


Green and simple. I'm no fan of Microsoft, but the logo does fit (even though I would be happy to see some *other* logo instead ).

And here's my Windows XP desktop... still have to buy a new RAID-5 controller before I can restore Linux on it. Living on 2 tiny 40GB hard disks atm -_-

Temporary one for Windows until I get some time to customize it using another shell ^^'


Linux laptop's desktop is still the same as last year : Sasuke & Naruto sleeping. Guess some of you have already seen it in this thread

.... Mai, probably a notable portion of the Kanon forum have it as a bg...hell, I think I saw it back a few pages here The only notable thing is I'm a top of screen taskbar person, though it causes some annoyance with window default positions.... other than that, I'm not fussed with fancy desktops - just large ones.

Still, I don't get to see my desktop often really.... that's why Megami posters cover most of the available wall space!

okay, I installed WordPlay's theme and now I can't figure out why the transparency looks all corrupted. Can anyone help?

Try re-applying the theme and updating your drivers. I'm pretty sure you just have old vid.card drivers in use, especially if the graphics are corrupted on other skins too (e.g: A Touch of Glass, DogmaX4).
