I meant it more in the 'you have the novel in your hands and can potentially enjoy it' manner and not the grind of the translation
I can't understand a word of written Japanese so I'm stuck waiting for it, which is likely to take a painful 6 or so years.

POSSIBLE SPOILER
I'm not sure if any of you have seen the cover of the last volume (or maybe 16) of the light novels but it's pretty apparent what happens to Holo and Lawrence judging by what Holo is wearing It seems Lawrence is going to be a busy man....and his question to Dianna about pagan gods and humans mating might be answered http://spicy-wolf.com/top.html Last edited by KyoKyo; 2011-08-20 at 23:25. When it comes to normally speaking, yes. I am the odd one out of everyone I know. When it comes to writing, hand-written, yes, I do, but usually for the Internet not so much. When writing stories most times I do as well. It is hard sometimes though, trying NOT to speak like that around my friends or random bystanders. It makes for a bad first impression... Most times.

It is why I do not speak out every word and use the old time speak. >_> It sucks.

Thanks for the spoilers
I stumbled on the Spice and Wolf anime a couple weeks ago on Netflix. It only took a couple episodes before I was hooked. When I ran out of season one episodes I found season two on the web. Looking forward to the rest of the story I found... nothing new. There were the light novels on Amazon but with only four of seventeen available I wasn't ready to go down that road both because I don't want to wait years to know how the story ends and for fear that they may decide not to publish them all anyway. So I searched the web and found this site.
I've read the entire S&W thread here and if I should die before all the books come out at least I have some idea of where the story went. With that, who know, I might buy the available English translations or I might wait. But I appreciate what I have read here so far and will continue to follow this forum. So thanks y'all! |

Very nice. I came in here a couple months ago and read from page like 75 to now, haha. The only thing to complete my life now would be to read every book... Which means several years of waiting.

This reminds me of the literal years we spent waiting to have the motives of the Vorlon and Shadows explained in Babylon 5. Last edited by emarsh; 2011-09-21 at 12:05. |
