I read the translations for this some time ago but quickly gave up. I didn't have a problem with the basic concept but it was really tedious and irritating for me.

I find it pretty sad how often authors want to give the MC some over-the-top "cheat" and then make it meaningless in practice. It's not like having a bigger cheat or more cheats makes the story better. Often the reverse really.

Stories like this look cheap to me imho, the authors set up an op MC then have him do normal things any other mob characters can do. This is even worse than harem stories with average student MC.

My view is simple, the MC has some over-the-top cheat to have an enjoyable life.

If even with some OTT cheat the MC has troubles (outside of legal stuff for whatever the MC wants to do) than the cheat is pointless in the first place.
