Yumekui Merry didn't really interest me but if Shigeyasu Yamauchi directs the series, I'm in.
Finally Yamauchi is back. I'm glad he directs a whole TV series because we don't have seen him since Casshern Sins except his work as episode director (Railgun, Bantorra) and Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu OAD.

read the manga a while ago, and I thought the artwork was pretty good. nothing would make me more happy to see an adaptation that can match the artistic qualities of the source material, but we can only hope.
as far as the story goes, it has a very interesting premise that tries to deal with the world of dreams. the first volume is dedicated in part to explore this world/setting, together with the introduction of the characters. however, I'm not sure where the story will go; but it has bits of of action and mystery that are to my liking. anyway, I'm looking forward to this. I get the feeling we might see something interesting, hopefully. |

Bah, so little interest in this in general~!
Anyway, OP and ED will be handled by IOSYS if there are Touhou fans lurking around <__< there will be preview at an event on 11/21. And for the people who didn't watch the preview that SwiftStrike mentioned, here's a link (and it does look pretty sweet) |

This design is pleasant.
By the way staff page is updated and glad to see Kenji Matsumoto as art director. He was the one who drew gorgeous backgrounds in some episodes of Casshern Sins specially the ninth one. We also have Yutaka Kurosawa as director of photography and Miyuki Ishida as color designer who both worked on Honey and Clover and Toradora!. So with this trio we could expect at least something nice visually...(and the beginning of the PV seems to confirm it) but I'm already confident in this adaptation with the original source material and Yamauchi as director.
