Yumekui Merry didn't really interest me but if Shigeyasu Yamauchi directs the series, I'm in.
Finally Yamauchi is back. I'm glad he directs a whole TV series because we don't have seen him since Casshern Sins except his work as episode director (Railgun, Bantorra) and Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu OAD.

Hujuwara-kun is your ordinary adolescent boy... Oooh, boy. ...but 10 years ago he noticed he had a power to see multicolored auras surrounding the persons body which he looks upon through his fingers... Sounds like Type-Moon. ...Every so often huju-wara has dreams about a war with cats... Oh shoot, deep subtle foreshadowing! ...but one day a girl fell on top of him... Never seen this before. I bet she's incredibly beautiful and will pose a love interest to him and a romantic rival to one of his existing female friends. ...what will happen now with his incoming feline enemies ?... Oh shoot, I was right about the foreshadowing!!
Not expecting much from this uninspired premise, but I won't jump to conclusions. Even something like this might surprise me.

read the manga a while ago, and I thought the artwork was pretty good. nothing would make me more happy to see an adaptation that can match the artistic qualities of the source material, but we can only hope.

as far as the story goes, it has a very interesting premise that tries to deal with the world of dreams. the first volume is dedicated in part to explore this world/setting, together with the introduction of the characters. however, I'm not sure where the story will go; but it has bits of of action and mystery that are to my liking.

anyway, I'm looking forward to this. I get the feeling we might see something interesting, hopefully.

Haha, I am solely watching at least a couple episodes of this just because the manga creator likes Cirno =P.

With the C78 PV out, I think it looks pretty good. Nice character designs. Music sounded like a boss fight out of a game when "they" appeared lol.

Bah, so little interest in this in general~!

Anyway, OP and ED will be handled by IOSYS if there are Touhou fans lurking around <__< there will be preview at an event on 11/21.

And for the people who didn't watch the preview that SwiftStrike mentioned, here's a link (and it does look pretty sweet)

I was so sure the chara designer was the same as the To Aru series, but Key Animator/Animation Director for Failgun is close enough. PV got my interest somewhat. I might give it a chance.

I'm voting for the aged Negi.

It has fights and the protags look nice. I'm in.

Hmm looks like it could be an interesting series. The guy does look like a few characters though can most easily see the aged Negi idea.

That PV makes the show look a whole lot more interesting than the premise I first read, that premise didn't mention badass looking winged creatures

I have very high expectation on this series. But JC Staff?... They are bad at this kind of series. :/

Actually, they're pretty good at the 'action' part of action series, and their adaptations have been a lot more faithful recently.

Looks like it will have story till VOL.2 manga at least.
Compare to other action manga, the story is a bit weak but if you are fine with the whole dream world setting, then go for it.

This design is pleasant.

By the way staff page is updated and glad to see Kenji Matsumoto as art director. He was the one who drew gorgeous backgrounds in some episodes of Casshern Sins specially the ninth one.
We also have Yutaka Kurosawa as director of photography and Miyuki Ishida as color designer who both worked on Honey and Clover and Toradora!.
So with this trio we could expect at least something nice visually...(and the beginning of the PV seems to confirm it) but I'm already confident in this adaptation with the original source material and Yamauchi as director.
