Chapter 2 is finished. It's a tearjerker when I read the raw, so I hope I don't butcher the scene too much in my translation.

Halfway to volume 9 already, honestly, I thought I would already give up in volume 3 or 4 when I first start.

If there is one thing I hate during a heart warming situation is that someone come and ruin it, which is Hel doing right now. She keep on and on how everyone from Kazuki's harem ganging on her but fail to realize she just spoil a mother and son reunion, as expect from Loki's spawn, they like to piss people off that earn them a can of whoopass!

Hopefully Loki get his when Kazuki go Badass mode one day.

That scene with Kazuki breaking down was really touching. Poor guy was really holding a lot in.

Hel really doesn't know how to the read the atmosphere, though that scene with Ikousai at the end was cute, I must say.

Yeah it was really touching. Kazuki longed for his mothers affection and Hel longed for her fathers...I think Hel can read the atmosphere but chooses to only do so when its advantageous for herself..."I am going to crush Kazuki's touching moment so papa will praise me." "Waaa no one loves me" etc. etc. She is a sadistic, hormonal teenage girl...who like her father only listens to parts that suit her.

Sounds like a family doomed to fail...
Kazuki- Mother issues, kind, loving, caring, playboy, etc
Ikousai- Cute, sadist,abusive, trash talker and power hungery to a fault.
Hel- Cute, Sadist, Real father issues, abusive, moody.

Hikaru's roll call almost got me laughing and Liz Liza's retorts made it even funnier.

The feels is so heavy like someone cut onions. It was really sad. After hearing Hibiki's sad past, I so want Loki, Hel, and the rest of his children gets destroyed by Kazuki.

So I cried a little. Not going to lie. I lost a parent at a very young age so these kinds of scenes hit me hard.

I almost let bad for Hel at the end. Almost... The fact that she is a monster and is willingly aiding a cause that would result in situations like Kazukis be commonplace makes it just a touch hard to emphasize with her.
