The chapter was mostly Kuroko.
A little chat between Misaki and Gensei at the first pages. Gensei gets kind of excited talking about Touma and Guhna and Misaki takes that chance to run away. It seems to me she is walking in direction to the giant brain and someone finds her.
I still have no idea what those little balls Kuroko was holding were... bombs?

I missed Misaka, Touma and Gunha D;
But I guess next time will be theirs

Anyway for the chapter, quite boring and short.
Kuroko chasing Mitori was relatively ok and the sound bombs were nice, but nothing worth keeping attention for more than a few seconds.
Even in the last page Mitori missed Kuroko and just scratched her clothes.

As for Saten and Uiharu, they finally get to appear and all they do is "oh, we found her, there she is"...
I mean seriously, all their potential on that? The chapter could have completly skipped that part.
They certainly can do more than that, like Uiharu messing with the security system around Mitori's clone, Saten controlling a few patrol robots helping Kuroko...

Misaki getting away while Gensei was talking to himself was ridiculous.
I mean she was suffocating, then he starts to talk to himself, while conveniently turning off his power and ignoring the fact she is hold in place only by a piece of her shirt.
This ridiculous mistakes completly ruin his previous "everything going according to plan" mindset.

I hope the christmas chapter is going to be better (and longer)

-Mitori vs Kuroko, as others have said not really interesting considering what else is happening at the moment (vs Mkoto, Misaki running away, and so on).

I was wondering about the timeline... are the recent events on the same day as the events with Oriana Thompson? Or some earlier day? Or perhaps even at a later day? How long exactly does the Daihasei Festival take?

They are on the second day of Daihaseisai, chapter 47 marked the end of the first day, which also is the end of the event with Oriana.

And Daihaseisai last a week.

I dunno, Misaki escaping while Gensei was pre-occupied by the matter seemed pretty natural.

It was an okay chapter. I like how Misaki is ready to give up on Mikoto like that at the cost of this ending. It definitely needs to be longer though. This was weekly length. I personally, don't care about Kuroko & friends segment though. Waste of pages.

Hmm, my interpretation was fairly different apparently. I took it to mean she realized she could discard Mikoto, but that wouldn't sit well with her, and while that may end up happening, she has no intention of giving up yet. So I don't think she is "ready" to give up Mikoto at all.
