Does anyone know how many issues there are going to be per arc (question and answer). Are any arcs completed? I think not. I believe i have all the translated ones up to date but its murder waiting for the other issues. I love this series!

Onikakushi, Watanagashi, Tatarigoroshi and Himatsubushi are all fully released in Japanese. Each of them are 2 volumes. |

Ah, thanks Iriliane. I tried looking on the wikipedia article to see how many issues each but all it mentions is the compiling into 2 tankobons. I am curious as to how far the translated ones are so i know when to start reading them and in what order.

I love the manga versions. They seem so much more complete than the anime (and to a certain degree the games). Since I've seen the anime, I already know what's going to happen, of course, but the differences are pretty big.
Actually, since I'm familiar with what they are saying, and there is furigana to explain the kanji, I've been using Onikakushi-hen to teach myself japanese. It's surprisingly easy! Is this just me, or does Higurashi use simpler language than other manga/books/what-not? |
