I really don't hate Yui. I even found it interesting on how would Kami do now that the 2 most troublesome are together

ah I don't want a cliffhanger if it ends as a cliffhanger I might ended up not reading it and wait till 125 or next year before reading it.

Yui has no fans? Personally I find her to be the most intriguing out of all the characters so far. She's pretty much a wild card.

It would be awesome if Yui joined Keima's capturing squad. Maybe there are some girls into yuri that Keima would require her services.

The way I see it from Wakaki Sensei's point of view in chosing the goddesses is kinda of like this, listing the possible candidates in my mind and hopfully Wakaki Sensei's:

Starting with my favourite and hopeful candidate,
Ayumi: I think as the author, I would feel very connected to the first capture target of the serialization, so I would want to expand on that character.

Tenri: A great character for introducing the goddess arc especially a character who already had a past with Keima expanding on the dynamic relationship Keima has with all the capture targets.

Chihiro: Interestingly enough was a different capture one where Wakaki sensei chose to make the girl fall in love with Keima from a different perspective rather than Keima simply chasing after the girl she fell in love with Keima from him simply giveing her attention.

Shiori: The first girl that was shown to be very similar to Keima, in the way they live in their own realities, Shiori in books and Keima in his games. This capture target and capture is like in literary sense the foil who helps to amplify Keima as a character and his possible character growth.

Yui: Interestingly one of the captures with the greatest after effect of the capture, a complete personality change as wel the first time a level 4 weiss is shown to have grown in power. Adding alot of the story and plot devices of the series.

Lastly Kanon: Well for one she is the first target we see having a effect of having a weiss and the fact that she is an idol makes this more interesting relationship that the other characters can react to.

Back when she had her arc, I remember (at least on this forum) that there was a very positive reaction towards her. I personally would be happy if she turns out to be a goddess holder.

He can expand on her all the same without having her remember Keima though. Her having fallen in love with him by herself could even open more interesting possibilities.

That was description fits Kanon to a T than Chihiro. The capture itself started out differently but fell to the standard route where Kemia would chase her and gain her trust midway.

Beyond the fact that the two have a strong fixation on their hobbies, they are completely different on their views on reality. Shiori had been having a problem trying to overcome her shyness so she could share what she learned from her books to others (she wanted to show why books were wonderful) Kemia on the other hand, doesn't care about what others think about him or his obsession with galge (in fact, he immediately shot Shiori down when she even tried to bring up this assumption)

How so? she's, at this point, nothing more than a plot device than an actual character

The problem is that it's hard to try and get inside the authors mind about how he feels/think about characters when he might have other plans in the future that might include them. And considering how unpredictable this one is at times, we can't bbe sure about which one has a goddess until a halo appears over her head.

Can you remember if Keima never told "I love you" during his captures?
I think he never did it.
If I'm right, I think it's a brilliant author's choice.
It would be great if Keima used those words only for the girl who will be his true love, someday.

I think 2B Pencils having a goddess may ruin the balance of story.
Ayumi and Chihiro will found out that Elsie is not Keima's little sister, that he approaches them not because he love them and that now he doing it for Kanon's sake.
Yui is kinda different because she's the one who has the initiative so whether she has a goddess or not may not effect the band
Miyako, however, will become an outsider and out of left field by herself if the other girls have goddess.

And unless the mangaka decide that there is no more capture arc, both of them may become annoyance. Keima will be like a husband who cheating on his wives and always try to hide from them when he escorting his target (like Tsukiyo now when Ayumi appears). And even they know that Keima is only putting an act and it's to save the target's life (and Keima's neck), I don't think they will 100% accept it like Tenri.
Kanon is an idol so she is rarely appear, Tsukiyo and Shiori meeting chance is limited because they're in specific location and not Keima's classmates. Yui is acting like a male now, so maybe she'll understand Keima reasoning?
Well, I prefer Ayumi and Chihiro to like Keima naturally even after losing their memory, so maybe I kinda biased.
