First of, let me just say that I really like how you completely disregard anything else in my response to you and focus solely on one of the things I've said. Coincidentally the easiest to pick up on for a holier than thou response. That is not how you have a proper discussion (that you seem to want as well), that is how you avoid bits of the conversation that do not favor you and your point.

January 8th 2012 was the last time I made more than a one-linner regarding Cana and my opinion of her and the events of Tenrou Island. Aside from that I've made a one line comment about her such as "I hope Cana doesn't replace Natsu" or the slightly stronger one "I hope Cana drinks herself into a coma for a bit and fades into the background." little snippets that neither sparked a conversation nor seemed to bother anyone. In fact when asked "You really don't like Cana do you?" I gave a quick and short one line answer and ended it there.

I do not look for discussions of this topic, I do not try to start them and I do not try to prologue them. Even now, I merely joked around with Cana's appearance this chapter with bigdeal000, he posted his view on the subject of the events on Tenrou and I responded with my own. We were having a discussion as people often do in forums, Haegar joined in and I made a happy comment when I found that someone who I've had good conversations with for a while now actually shared my opinion...and I was done.

Until you showed up and for some reason felt the need to almost attack me, putting words in my mouth (something not only I but a lot of people despise) as if I was some single minded fool that believed he and his opinions were above all others'. Not only that but you also spoke as if you were the voice of the people when I've had nobody else but you complain about such discussions showing up (considering how little of them I've been involved in, it would surprise me if there were more).

This is a discussion forum. Though I did not bring up the topic this time, even if I did what I do is merely bring up a topic I view as worth discussing and if no one else shares that opinions then so be it, the discussion ends. If someone else responds then by golly, we have at least two people interested in the discussion. And isn't that the whole point of this place? To discuss topics related to the series in question? Yes, it is.
If someone is bothered by the discussion they view as worthless (while others may not) then all they need to do is voice it. Say "Randrak, please drop the topic." and I will, I respond to politeness and good manners as much as I respond to attacks and this time I was attacked (even if that was not your intention) and responded accordingly.

Like I said, if someone has a problem with the discussion I am involved in then voice it out, if you are too afraid to do so or can't be bothered to do it then I will never know your displeasure. And in now, you are either the only one displeased or the only one unafraid of voicing out your opinion on the matter. If you are the only one then like I said, ask me politely to stop, don't treat me like a fool. If others are afraid or otherwise can't be bothered to do it then I there is nothing I can do.

Personal or not, you spoke for a crowed who doesn't exist (like I said, if you don't voice it, I cannot read your thoughts either). You were the only one so far to show any distaste for the topic being brought up and discussed, yet you spoke as if there were others. This is the one line you should have started with and would have avoided this pointless back and forth. Though I disagree that a topic should not be discussed just because the arc is over, I will abide to the request and stop, as I to view any more of this as pointless.

Hell Yeah totally expected Erza to take on all 100 and win, this fight would have gone on too long if we seen all the contestants fighting.
While somewhat predictable, still totally awesome.

Now I'm waiting on Laxus' turn, altho I get the uneasy feeling he'll be put up against someone that can fight toe to toe or even best him and proabably easily at that.
Someone's gotta give and more this tournment goes on, more I see Laxus filling that role.
Since he's one of the big shots in FT and all.
Just hope I'm wrong in this.

I think immblueversion summed it up best, but I'll add a bit to it.

I think Erza, in one fell swoop, brought FT team A back into the game, showed that FT wasn't to be laughed at to everyone, and and scared the crap out of everyone watching. I knew she was good, but that magic boost severely made her OP.

And we'll note that Cana didn't do anything really this chapter, so any pre-hate was unjustified. Then again, pre-hate rarely is. It's a lesson I learned long ago, to try and withhold judgment until I have all the information.

The second I saw Erza get number one, I instantly thought she would go ahead and pick 50, meaning she would win no matter what. Oh what a moron I was! Of course she would pick 100 and go all out.
Anyway, I really loved Natsu and Gray's reactions, everyone was O_O and they were just xD. Then again nobody knows Erza like those two.

However there is one thing I fear for next chapter.
Next chapter we'll probably have the battle stage and Erza is still an available choice. I fear that they might pick her (be it to be an ass or because it was arranged beforehand) and she won't be strong enough to beat her opponent (though she will no go down without a bang mind you)

Probably because Mashima plays a number of videogames, including online multiplayer games, and they serve as one of his inspirations.

awesome. Just awesome. Somehow, it's unexpected but also expected of Ezra to say that and go ahead and did it. Check the reaction of everyone when she said that. No one else found it possible except Natsu and Grey, laughing and knowing she'd defeat all 100 monsters. I like that reaction too. (shows they're just as crazy as she is, lol)

Fairy Tail is probably the Team Dai-Gurren of the new decade. I mean, just imagine people chanting "FIGHT THE POWER" during Erza's pose at the end; her sword is the one that will pierce the heavens! In fact, think of Erza fighting those beasts with this blaring in the background. You can never unthink it once you do. My only regret is that we didn't get to see Raven Tail's reaction. But if that council guy weren't commenting on the games, they might've tried going up to no good. Emphasis on the word "tried".

On another note...how many tourney points do the others get? Erza just scored 10pt for FTA. How will the points be distributed? I'm sure we'll get our answer with the chapter next week. I'll be looking forward to the new battle matchups.

Words fail to describe the sheer epic BEAUTY that Erza Scarlet has displayed this week. This was definitely one of THE finest moments that Mashima has ever drawn in his entire career. This was...no, this IS... beauty.

I believe that we all can shout those great words that Noriko-sama once said a few years ago in that awesome speech as Charles Britannia. Of course, I propose an ammendment to the original line:

ALL HAIL TITANIA!!!
