Seriously, Infinite Stratos first came out around 10 years ago and it's only at 12 volumes. In that time, they've releases two different manga series based off it and 2 anime seasons. Why after volume 8, the author is only releasing 1 volume a year at best. In the time since this series started, there have been many light novel series that have started and ended in the time have had as many if not more volumes. Why is it taking so long for the author to releases the final volume.

That problem that happened after volume 7? I do remember that. But what I'm talking about is why even after they settled it, it started taking longer between each volume release after that.

It is probably Yumizuru's health again. I read the J-Novel Club translation, and Yumizuru wrote that he had always had a weak constitution since childhood. He did create IS when he was unemployed and hospitalized.

Nothing has been said on it since V12’s release last year.
For the past couple of years, Infinite Stratos novels have been releasing in late Spring, but we’ve already passed that window by...so either it’ll be released later in the year than usual...or not at all this year, and instead, next year.

Not thing of noticable has been written about Kazuma.

Anyway, lurking on Twitter to see if I can find any information on volume 13. No good, but what I found are dozens of bad Houki fanarts (commemorating her birthday), a fan-made Cecilia 2019 calendar, and Rin's three sizes: B75, W53, H78.
