@kazutoxasuna:

Normally the original planning for the progressive series, is one volume=one floor of the "original" aincrad, which means that the serie will stop at the 75th floor...
Anyway in France the first three are published and we are already late on the planning ( they didn't beat the boss of the third floor at the end of the third book...)

I mean seriously, if you REALLY watched this series you'd know what happens once the first users try it out!

It's very stranged considering they did beat the third floor boss in second book in progressive series novel in original Japanese edition

(check amazon fr)

nah, The french publisher only published manga adaptation of the progressive whereas the one we're talking about is the original progressive novel.

Cover of Vol 17

Looks like Alicization will end at Vol 18 or 19.

In the preview for Vol 17, I believe it was mentioned that the next Volume (18) is the "Climax", so I think it's safe to assume Volume 18 should be the final volume of Alicization—mostly.

Yeah, that's pretty much what i got from it as well.

Leaves the question whether Kawahara will continue after Alicization like he recently mentioned he was considering.

I think we can forget about Alicization getting animated because the movie is coming out next year. Alicization woould also require at least 4-cours.

and i think you need to read up on a1 saying they will animate the rest of sao.

4 cours would be just fine. the first 2 cours can cover 9-14 as the last 2 volumes from that half were mostly fights. 15-18 has even more emphasis on action.

and the movie has nothing to do with alicization.

Yeah, those aren't exclusive at all. I'd actually expect them to announce S3 at the end of the movie, similiarily like they did with S2 and Extra Edition.

Why isn't SAO as big as DxD, Mahouka, or Index on here? Is the hate really that strong for it?

So, True Love for Kirito and Asuna while Alice isn't even actually romantically interested in Kirito.
I haven't been keeping up with the LN ever since I read the WN, but Alice isn't interested!? So we aren't going to see her international confession?

From volume 15 it is clear she has romantic feelings for him, she wanted to tell her feelings and almost kissed him but are interrupted by Eldrie and in the Volume 16 she is jealous of Asuna, Sortiliena teased them about that
Despite that her interest in him is still not as big as the end of the WN, but for now their relationship is almost identical between LN and WN, if it continues to follow the path of the WN then her confession for Kirito on national TV is definitely possible.
