I wonder why they cut it...

I think it was fairly easy to guess (though this is coming from an Index viewer)

I'm assuming they can't make Accelerator say it outright because it wouldn't be in his character to admit something like that to himself, hence why that line of dialogue was partially missing in the manga, in the first place.

I believe this series will win tons of awards again at the end of this year for being the best anime of the year or something

Best ANIME EVER. It's just too overwhelming compared to other anime series, and even against Index I, II and Railgun Season 1 (Movie I haven't watched, so I don't know about that one though).

I am going to rewatch ep1~16 again <3 <3 <3

And I personally wish Index 3 season if it's gonna be realised will be much better than Railgun S. It must be.
What about now, I think SNK is still above Railgun S because it has too much great stuff and exciting plot. Even better than in Railgun S. Also too much good characters.
Railgun S should be remembered as really sad and scary story.

I want Liberal Arts City to be animated next and it would be a good place to do so since it takes place after the Sisters' arc but before Daihaseisai.

Awesome episode way better than in Index I, this arc is one of the reasons TAMNI/TAKNR is my favorite anime/LN universe ever.

So I guess subtitles can make something *slightly* better.

Infinity/10 why not. Best episode I have ever seen of any anime. This was better than what I was expecting. Maybe 12.5 hours of sleep helped me enjoy this as well.

Anyway, all three of my favorite scenes: Touma getting up, Touma punching out Accelerator, and Mikoto talking to Touma on the bridge were done perfectly. The first 2 scenes were about Touma and the last scene was mainly about Mikoto for me in terms of why I liked them so much.

The music this episode was fantastic (I finally listened to it 10 times louder than the first time I had seen it). The storyline was beautiful. The flashback with Accelerator was excellently done.

I saw Index there that one time. I really like the faces they are giving the characters when they are telling something funny or abashedly. Touma's face looked just like MISAKA 9981's face when he was saying his "roommate" got more violent with each passing day.

Also, Mikoto actually said out loud or thought out loud that it was because Touma talked to the clones and treated them like humans that they changed. I'm so happy.
Spoiler for comparison to manga:
but I noticed it anyway and thought this was the reason they made the talk scene so long here. I am happy I was right.

J.C. staff put in a concerted effort to really make this season excellent.

This just makes me happy for noticing this and for being able to enjoy this. I can't wait for the rest of the remaining season. I see that Mikoto's friends and Frenda are back. I am curious what Frenda's role is though with the study group. Anyway, I guess the cookies scene is next episode and we get to see the new amazing opening and ending. The new opening theme sounds amazing from the part of it that I had heard. There was a 10 second clip of the new opening theme actually at the original concert when Fripside first performed Sisters Noise (it was at the end of the song recording), but I couldn't find the song anywhere. I'm so happy that was the next episode opening because the song had sounded so good that I hoped it was used as music as some point (well lucky me).

This episode finished a great arc which I argue is still not entirely complete. They said the sisters arc was finished yes, but the aftereffects and the curiosity of her friends about the cookies still hasn't been addressed so I would like to see those happen and finish within this 24 episode season before I make any overall comments on the arc.

This was fabulous and boy were my low expectations shattered. This episode was beautiful. Touma, Accelerator, Mikoto, and #10032 are all great characters.

I think that Accelerator with the flashback finally showed just exactly what he was thinking when he had done all of this. No one says he isn't blameless for what he did, but as we saw he finally really realized what he had done was wrong.
Spoiler for comparison to Index I:
so it is nice to see this side of events as well. I feel like this really complements what we saw in the Index version, but of course happens to be a better version produced 5 years later

Overall, this arc was extremely well done with amazing music this episode, and amazing lack of music. I am deeply satisfied with this. Thank God for Team Railgun

I have to say I actually prefer this to Shijeki No Kyoujin. SNK has an amazing storyline. But it's not the outright storyline that makes this so good. It is everything you have to look for after watching an episode 6 times that makes it a true masterpiece and not just amazing action and a storyline with cool scenes and excellent music.

Can you include the brief explanation next to the jargon? I don't recall "SNK" as a Railgun jargon. The only SNK relevance that I know is King of Fighters and Metal Slug. My knowledge about Railgun is still poor. So far I only know:
Accelerator means Main Plan
Exterior means Outside Installed Replacement Brain
Mental Out means Psychological Control
Clone Dolly means Talent Persons Production Workshop
Level Upper means Image Upper Hand

I'm assuming SNK means Shingeki no kyojin, though it certainly isn't obvious.

Because, then Touma would have to break the laws of physics a spammable number of times in a row, which would bother fans

Well that fight really drove home just why Accelerator sees Touma as The Dreaded as he will beat your face in while showing you just how wrong your view of the world is while ignoring enough damage to kill to kill a man.

Touma is only a level 0. The fund given to them is only for lunch or pocket money and not to ensure his hospital bill.

The allocation of budget differs from level.

That's why there was a joke that the director pays for touma's bill because it should to much for a high school level 0 to afford. Even counting the money that was given to toumaby his parents.

Ah... fantastic finally for rail gun s. I will surely miss it. The animation is aweaome and the inner monologue of accelerator is great. I shows how twisted he become because of his environment and academy city.

The next series shows cute item. It might be worth wasting time to just watched them.

As for one questionig why the next series is not about getting justice for the sisters well its rail gun what to expect.

.... on serious side. Remember season 1 where misaka fought that mad scientist in level upper arc? Hayama? Said that she ask the anti skill for help but she was denied. Even with evidence the darkness run deep for it to be cleanse with. Give it to government but the politicians where controlled by the directors of academy city. There is no way to brought them jugdement unless you can deliver it yourself or a bigger organization backing you up. But academy city is the biggest organization that rules the world so no opposing them. Unless your from the magic side, big time cabals.

If they try to make a scene. They will be just eliminated.

Ah! Really awesome finally and arc. Nice pacing and development. The only thing I hate is touma's design. He looks far to tall and skinny. Plus what's with the flying hair or the stick up hair. Toumas hair is to messy and sticking out than his previews design. He looks idiotic.

This is why the constant "HAH TOO BAD RAILGUN S IS OVER NOW " comments are really getting on my nerves.

Frenda was in the preview. How can people say such silly things when our explosive star is returning?

Anyway. I don't think this episode had quite the emotional impact of the previous two, but it was still good. I am glad to see the Sisters finally safe. It's also good to finally have in-anime confirmation of how much Accelerator had lost sight of his true goal of never having to hurt anyone (even if they did cut off the end of the sentence), so hopefully our posts won't be deleted any more for saying that he'd gotten so caught up in the means (become powerful enough that no one will attack him again) to his end (never have to hurt anyone again), that he lost sight of the end and was just focusing on the means as if they were the end in and of themselves.

This episode made me shed tears of relief >.<
While some people look more for the plot, I am deep into the plot already (LN reader) so I could care less about it.
I can't remember the last time the production team put much thought into an anime they make to the point I notice the little things - such as the background music of Touma vs Accelerator (felt like a western face-off), the timing of the scenes and flashbacks, not only simple slow motion, when the railgun coin flipped out from Misaka's hands, and Misaka's pauses. It's really easy to make it mediocre and straight out from the manga, but this just goes above and beyond.

And as a LN and manga reader, I've often seen less-than-satisfactory adaptations with lots of complaints everywhere from viewers, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that feel that this anime do justice to the Index franchies.

The cookies that Mikoto made, Touma ate her handmade cookies no problem, contrast to #10032's purposely handmade burnt cookies, lol.

And really, what was Accelerator doing? No Accelerator, Obtaining Absolute Power doesn't change anything, people like "Touma" still be your endless opponent.

Even Index will view #10032 as an older sister than Mikoto.

Mostly Mikoto finally changed her character to be more accepting person.
