The entire basis of the story is about Aharen not knowing how to gauge the distance between people and a guy that's cool with whatever. The part where she wants to hold hands in a different way from the normal clinginess shows that something has changed but it's vague.

Just finished reading the available chapters of the manga. Just as hilarious and cute as the anime. Riku was absolutely not how I thought she would be, a classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. She looks like a gyaru but she's extremely shy and insecure. And since she's in this manga she's also a very good girl of course.

The recent development was unexpected

The recent development was unexpected Spoiler for 144: Raido imouto is now at the center of a yuri love triangle which includes Eru. Of course I am rooting for Eru to win because Raidos and Aharens belong together. After more than 15 volumes, we may find out imouto's name soon... __________________

The ending chapters were also pretty damn stellar Spoiler for Final chapters spoilers: Showing Raido and Aharen's wedding, the jobs they ended up doing, them having a kid, the kid getting married, and finally having a grandkid. Favorite part from these chapters was the grandson asking where his grandpa was and Aharen replying "he's with the stars", and then the scene cutting to Raido being on the moon Final chapter was perfect, showing Raido and Aharen's first interactions from her perspective. Never giving up on getting a reply from her really paid off for him. Only disappointment is the majority of the supporting cast not getting an ending. Did they ever find a cure for poignancy attacks? We'll never know. Would be amazing to get a second season covering the rest of the story. __________________
