Cleaning my room in order to rearrange furniture so I can get another case, stacked my boxes in the process:

I think it actually looks neat like that. 1/8 boxes on the left, 1/7s on the right (two strays on top; 1/8 Shiki and Cirno is 1/6)

IMHO, you should turn them around. The back cover usually looks better than the empty box

It's not meant for display, just getting them out of the way for the time-being, I just snapped a pic because I thought it looked neat. ^^;

It's from MegaHouse and a local anime store got it for me on a yahoo auction

The one you mentioned is yet to be released by Daiki Kougyou but not many people seem to like it. If you ask me, the face is a bit off and not cute at all. Also the pose made a good artwork but it looks too goofy for a figure.

Then there's Kaitendoh's version and the Griffon versions: this one's really nice, but they sort of messed up her breasts on their other one - those look like cannonballs or something

IMHO, Megahouse's the best and comes at a reasonable price, and Griffon's cold cast figure comes second (and costs a small fortune)

Anyone here got the Queen's Blade Reina nendoroid made by FREEing?

I'm curious about the quality, because I sure would like to add nendo Airi and Alleyne to my collection if they're any good

I can't decide which to give to a friend as I promised her one, and which to sell. I've ordered the ques q one as it will fit in with my collection better, so these two which I had ordered prior need to go, as I only have one figure of a char... well, that's how I had defined one of my rules for collecting. I suppose I can discard them. It's a tough choice.

The majority, I buy from AmiAmi however I've bought a couple (of older ones) from ebay, but you have to be careful of bootlegs if doing so. Also the prices can be pretty bad. Best to buy new.

I pre-ordered both the Hatsune Miku figures for AUG.

This month, the Miku Tony ver should be released and the IS figure.

All offer good service but AmiAmi offers the cheapest prices for the same product and as such I have cancelled a few Pre-orders with HLJ to go with AmiAmi instead.

Yes, pretty cheap prices but an incredibly light protection to buyers, in my last order with Amiami (some months ago) the package got lost on its way and I needed to push my bank (all payments with my credit card are covered) to start with legal actions against them to make they move their asses...

Since then I switched to Hobby Search (so much more reliable) and with point system + lately discounts it's also pretty much cheaper.

BTW, there is a "where to I buy" thread in this same subforum, so I think better to check that thread than asking here where to buy

Well, she was meant to be released at the start of the year in Jan! Been waiting for so long for her, but in a way it's good that she got delayed but also bad for me personally.

It's good for me because an other figure that is being releaesd at the end of the month can be shipped with her! So save on customs and shipping.

It's bad because Sanada Yukimura Version 2.0 is released this month too!

Got a Kendo Taikai at the end of the month, so very expensive month!

When I saw those shots it immediatly caught my eye that the legs and torso are too long for the pint-sized Taiga

they'll probably appear to be be the oddest items in my collection, but they're beautiful and have a very dynamic pose and interaction with eachother
