Need anime...

I am looking for action, fantasy anime. Something with lot fights and cool power.
Similar to Bleach or Naruto. I prefer that anime you suggest is not very childrish with characters, and that it have addictive storyline... But in times like this (I'm kinda despere, dont have anything to watch) any suggestion will be nice...

Sengoku Basara - Doesn't have a ton of skills like in Naruto, but the fighting is pretty good (samurai fights, but little more fantasy type) and a decent story line to it.

I think you'll like Karas (I haven't watched it myself, haven't gotten myself to download it but I heard that the storyline is a bit confusing/short but the actual battles are hardcore epikly ownage)

Ikkitousen - lots of smackin-kickin (what I mean is lots of punchin and jabbing but no "Getsuga Tenshou!!" type looking skills, ecchi to it too; high school setting but with reincarnated warrior spirits from way back...
-way too many series IMO >_<

Gun Grave perhaps? Been a couple years since I last saw it, I do remember a few cool fights (guns and such).

Claymore - decent in fights...I guess

Fate/Stay Night - definite watch, just wish there was more "skills"; eh, but storyline is addicting....

Seems like "skilling" animes like in Naruto/Bleach are hard to come buy. Most are smack-smack or pew-pew but not really too flashy.

Eureka Seven
Code Geass
Yu Yu Hakusho
Full Metal Alchemist

Seirei no Moribito same as black lagoon none here but still good.

I'll add Canaan, Mai/My Hime, s-CRY-ed, Witch Hunter Robin and if you don't mind a crazy plot with humor I'll say Needless too.

If can stand, or like Yuri

I highly recommend Chrome Shelled Regios. It's post-apocalyptic fantasy, with a badass protagonist. Lot's of big fights and cool power.

I also recommend Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari. I myself have just started watching it, and it fits in with your spec. Great animation as well as some cool characters.

Naruto and Bleach arent childish... at least the main story isnt. They have great plots and character developments.

^ Assuming the OP's pov, Naruto is childish because it involves toilet humour and senseless violence against the lead by his crush. Bleach is childish because of Rukia's drawings and the standalone anime original episodes, whose main theme is comedic. That last part applies to Naruto as well.
To be fair though, all action fantasy anime employ the powers of comedy, so it's practically impossible to find one without a single childish character (even DtB has its share). Anyway, check out FMA: brotherhood if you haven't, although it's a remake the story is different after ep.10 or so, definitely worth watching. Most of the other suggestions I had in mind have already been posted by incube, and the ones left out feature extreme nudity, violence and/or gore, so...

Well i did say i wasnt considering the filler episodes....

I dont think Sakura beating up Naruto for his stupidity once in a while and Rukia making some cute drawings (again once in a while...) makes the anime childish... The character developments, originality of the stories, tragedy in the main characters pasts, etc are much more important points to consider.

btw we are getting a bit offtopic...

The fact it's aimed at 10 year olds is what makes it childish
Just because the characters have back stories and such doesn't make it particularly adult or thought provoking or anything
