Hmm, interesting... after all that, Natsu feels he can take on both at once? Even though he hasn't watched Rogue attack yet? And he feels he's that strong, even despite not having dragon force to match them? Is releasing the 2nd container that powerful? I didn't think it would be. I get the feeling there is more to Natsu's power increase than just that... perhaps his magic really is influenced by feelings (similar to the Nakama-powered Fairy Sphere).

I get the feeling Gajeel will come back and defeat Rogue. Either way, feels like a curbstomp waiting to happen again. And I did want to see that.

Yeah I have the same opinion.
In the past Lector was crying because he was being called a liar and told everyone that Sting defeated a dragon.

Sting then says that dragon might not exist anymore. This hints that he hasnt met a dragon at this point. And Sting promised his cat that he would make it true by beating Natsu.

And on another page it says that from that past and till the current time, he was able to become a dragon-slayer. So he wasnt a dragon-slayer when that scene showed up. I think about the killing a dragon thing is a lie Lector made up and Sting claims he killed a dragon to support Lector's lies. That is why he is obsessed with defeating Natsu I think. Beating Natsu would prove him killing a dragon.

I have a feeling that the whole "kill their dragon parents" thing is "from a certain point of view". Maybe the dragon parents held back, maybe Sting and Rogue think they caused their deaths in some way, maybe it was a mercy kill.

By the way, how old are Sting and Rogue compared to Natsu and Gajeel?

Sheesh i been saying it for a while that Sting and Rogue's dragon parents let them be killed but whatever i gotta admit the whole sting lector thing ended up being pretty silly IMO and am i the only one who wasnt cracking up when natsu pushed gajeel onto the cart and sent him flying
