I believe it will be something like this:

Case 1) Zero is assumed dead ( Presumed dead or missing) and one year has passed. New Zero apears and the world is once more in chaos. :

Now there are two possibilties:

A) This new Zero is thought to be the same Zero who started rebelion.
a) However he isnt the same zero
b) He is the same good old Lulu


Also This new character might be working under Zero. " Cough " Teru Mikami much "cough" .

Or he might be acting as new Zero and later on meets the real zero.

I don't expect the anime to suddenly say " New Transfer Student from Brittania. " or something.

But it seems like it's more than likely going to pull it off.

I love how people cry out for Lulu, not as much as C.C. or ORAAAAANGGGGEEEEE.

I doubt V.V. wanted Suzaku to meet Lelouch actually...why else steal Nunally? The only reason would be to get him to meet up with V.V. or something.

Kallen never the less would follow Lelouch even with this knowledge. She knows that he gave her several times and even moments where he gave her the option to see his true face and she denied it. It shouldn't matter now that her idol turned out to be the same guy she slapped before...I think..>>;

Suzaku looks resolved, from what he appears to be like. I would assume Lelouch either disappeared or got wounded and Suzaku was the one who wounded him, I doubt he'd have such a cocky and calm expression.

New Zero...

C.C. and Lulu are combo. If we have Lulu we will have C.C. too ( Well at least i hope *_*) . Pluss C.C. cant die .

Well she is kind of dumb, but still i agree with you about kallen following Lulu.

He looks kind of mad and heartless to me. It might have been that Lulu was able to run away and he ( Suzaku) has vowed to hunt him( Lulu) down. Thus that resolved look.

I ve just dropped Gundam 00 n now there are only few animes for me to watch. So happy to hear about the confirmation of ss2 airtime.

I don't wanna talk about any morality-related thing anymore. Lulu is considered (by majority) the most interesting char, so at least he mustn't die before the end of the series. I will prefer a badass Suzaku, but it will also be better to still have him as a somewhat "antagonist" of Lulu. I would like to see a "dark" Nunally as well. Ah, it will be best if everyone is no good and there's a shocking ending (like the evil won, or most of human beings die in the end, etc. ^_^)

I'm going to wait for the previews and the actual series to make assumptions on the spoilers, because it'd be rather painful to figure a scenario in your head and find out it's wrong...

A lot CAN happen in one year.
In fact, this might have happened to Nina, assuming everyone at the academy is still alive (like Lloyd, Rakshata, Grunts, Ashford students):

1. Someone calls a sculptor to create a realistic copy of Zero.
2. They hang the sculpture above the ocean.
3. They tell Nina that Zero is about to hide in the deep ocean.
4. Nina runs to the ocean and arrives just in time to see "Zero" fall into the water.
5. Nina jumps into the ocean, detonates her bomb, and she dies.

They are. Which is why I doubt it is anyone but a sibling/relative of Lelouch. Somehow, though, if it is a sibling, it would feel farfetched. We see only one brother when Nunally is shot and there is never mention of another brother. Cousin, on the other hand, I can see.

her eyes aren't blue, they're light purple. same as Euphie's were.

go check any point in the first season when they had marianne's corpse over poor little Nunnally. ;_;

Her eyes are more of a blue color then a purple. Either way, they are still nowhere near a dark color as Rollo's eyes.
