lt's nice to see kana being thrown a bone at her direction with the current developments but that's all it is. Kanako has no chance of winning Junpei over kaede.

Kanako has good chances in the Manga. the anime is another thing.

Not really if there is a conclusion though there is no doubt kaede will be the winner... but l'm not holding my breath since the manga hasn't ended. the anime can end inconclusive and yet kaede can come up looking to be the winner. all l'm saying when the manga ends and lord knows when they make another season or ova to conclude the series the winner will be Kaede. Kanako can have all the bones thrown at her in the end it won't alter junpeixkaede happening.

but there's so much different between the two....

all the selvy fans (saber) thought she was going to win...just because they where forced into an engagement.
That Junpei never showed any romantic interest in her. lt's very well established that this junpei is very much head over hills for Kaede....and as far as we know Kaede very much likes Junpei as well.

Selvy wasn't the best girl in that show, Kaede is the best girl of this show.
l see kanako as more of a hurdle for junpeixkaede to get together then an actual rival.

Until we get direct confirmation, I'll just go with the simple explanation of A) unconsciously strangling cats to death and B) reeks of dog, although somehow overhearing the convo isn't completely out of left field imo.
