I'm working on a project where I will have to program an AT90USB, and I was told that AVR Studio 4 with WinAVR's AVR-GCC was the way to go.

The project is done with help from a local University professor, and he had taken it upon himself to teach me how to use AVR Studio. Problem is that he now suddenly have stopped replying to my E-mails and I'm stuck with a software I can't handle.

I've been messing around with it a bit trying to figure out how their simulator/debugger work, but haven't been able to actually understand it. The help in the software doesn't explain it really and all guides I have found on the net seems to require previous experience with AVR Studio itself.

My question to you guys is if there is someone who knows of a good guide explaining the AVR Studio interface and functionalities on a basic level?

EDIT: After a good while of more searching I've found a guide I think might work. I read it and my little test program is now running and is being correctly simulated ^^
