It's snowing now today; seems to have started sometime in the morning. Honestly, it looks more like rain than snow with how it falls. Classes are still on, mostly because none of the snow seems to be sticking so far, but the campus is still under a winter storm watch until tomorrow.

New record for the season somewhat more north; -40,2C.

Snowing here atm, about 0.5 meter snow outside the window, although the compressed snow banks are starting to reach 3-4 meters. Subways are shutting down in the capitol, and trains over the nation are delayed most of the time or not running at all. Still, Stockholm is hit "worst", because they can't figure out that snow comes every year.

Yea, it's sure a good thing they didn't upgrade in case of a harsh winter...

Snow have been slushy so far, that it becomes a big mess while I was still on campus in Newark. However, it got alot heavier where I live and I don't think there will be classes tomorrow since the snow is still coming down heavily.

About 16-20 inches of snow is expected, which is alot than the last storm

We have a snow day now. And enough snow that my work place got closed for the day. So now I pretty much have nothing to do, since I have no homework to get done.

I have no classes today... but with the latest snow storm makes me think that Global Cooling is happening, not Global Warming since the east coast was hit with three big snow storms in one month...

Been in bed all day feeling like crap to only look out my window around 11:30pm and be surprised at the snow fall thats been going on!

It's coming down pretty hard now.
If I'm up for it tomorrow it's snowman building time!
This year tho I'm gonna make a snowman that won't be felled by the kids next door, they have a habit of killing my snowmen in some pretty horrible ways.

Regards Glasgow, Scotland!

We don't have snow in Vegas... The last time there was snow, was two years ago, around mid-late December... and that was like, two or three inches of it, I think... It was pretty... unnatural seeing my neighborhood covered in white. And I still thought it was pretty damn cold... but then again, I'm in the desert. I wouldn't last long higher north, or eastward...

Before that though, snow hasn't hit Las Vegas in decades. Not since 1979, I think. Or at least snow heavy enough to call a snow day for schools.

We had a light fall of snow during the Thanksgiving game this morning. Not very much at all, and pretty soon it turned to frozen rain, but it was still pretty cool all the same to see it. Gives me a good idea of what we might be in for here once December rolls around. It's going to be interesting to see how my roommate reacts to it, as far as I know she's never seen snow before.

after being over seas in a much warmer climate, I'll be happy to see snow again...
and then I won't be able to wait until spring.

The snow started around the same time as it had in past years, but it's been heavier than previously. >>;; I'm dreading how much snow will be around in January.

Time to go back to my favorite pastime in the winter time:

Count the idiots texting while driving on icy roads.

Hopefully there'll be less of them this time around since the previous fools ruined either their vehicles or their health by doing that.

I hope for snow, lots and lots of snow. That way the sun will be out considerably less this winter and I won't have to revert back to a state of near hikikomori.

Enjoy the snow while it lasts, people.
