Would have preferred Myoukou or Mogami class amongst the CAs. When will the carriers finally get some love.

Ryuujou: W-w-w-w-w-what should we do?! They say foreign ships are coming, but I'm not mentally prepared!

Tenryuu: Isn't it obvious everything will be fine if we just rely on "BANG" and the likes!

Inazuma: But won't we have to communicate with words?

Tenryuu, Inazuma, Ryuujou: ...

Kongou: Leave it to me, for I'm a returnee!

Tenryuu: Ooh!

Kongou: Repeat after me! Naisuchumiichu (nice to meet you)!

Tenryuu, Inazuma, Ryuujou: Naisuchumiichu!

Admiral: They are German...

I've noticed a few manga strips joking about Kongou's inability to effectively communicate using foreign language, despite the fact that she peppers her speech with English. They're pretty humourous, I might add.

I just started playing Friday myself. My first Battleship was Kongou and I've since gotten Kirishima and Haruna also. Between those 3 and Akagi my resource consumption has gone up several exponential levels in just 2 days.

Are there any girls that when sunk go out cursing their enemy (or the Admiral)?

Akebono curses the Admiral regularly without being sunk. I generally try to keep at least one of every ship but she is first in line for the scrapper if I ever run out of space.

By the way, it's never a good idea to pre-emptively scrap ships, especially DDs, as Kadokawa is very fond of adding new composition and sortie quests connected to specific DesDivs. Plus DDs are mandatory parts of expeditions anyway so...

If you aren't interested in shelling out money for DMM points to purchase extra dorm space, consider keeping a "core" group of around 60 ships for both sorties and expeditions.

For those attempting to get Z3 or Bismarck, how effective is setting Z1 as the flagship in getting them? Wikiwiki seems to list it as the gospel truth (highlighted in red no less), but I thought the general opinion of flagship dictating the crafted ship seems to be just a placebo effect.

There also seems to be varied opinions on the amount of resources to be spent as well. Some say minimal amount plus 20 dev, others swear on Yamatos' recipes.

I just want some inputs before I start, as I just cleared both of my LSC goals, got Taihou(15th attempt, 4/2/5/7/20) and Yamato(17th attempt, 4/6/6/2/20) back to back.

Yeah, the possibility of this is the only reason I still keep any of the Ayanami class DDs around. (Well, aside from the aforementioned OCD collector's need to keep one of everything, else it defeats the point of a collection.). If a duplicate ever comes up though, she is already torpedo upgrade fuel before her intro line is even finished.

I was pretty lucky and managed to get both Shimakaze and Beaver early, and I have an irrational fondness for the Shiratsuyu-class destroyers (even the ones without the good upgrades), so I have a pretty healthy core of DDs for when the need arises.

I am very interested in both this and the extra repair docks but unfortunately I have no means to give them my money at the moment.

Yes, her resupply isn't all that terrible but if she gets hit my entire steel supply is gone >_<

I'm on a BB crafting spree. The data shows that lowbie admiral have better shot at getting BB off the 400/30/600/30 recipe, and I'm spamming it as quickly as my resource allows me before I lvl pass the 'lowbie' stage.

So far...2x Ise and a Yamashiro; I want a Kongou class T_T

Since you got Nagato, stop right there. Chances you get what you want aren't really that great due to non BB and Ise/Fusou class being more common than Kongou and Nagato class.
You don't need any other BB as of now. What's important is to progress a bit so you have a decent and balanced fleet. That will also give you chances to drop the ships that unlock the other fleets for expeditions.

It's not about effectiveness. It's a requirement.
The devs already said that acquiring Z1 is needed in order to construct the foreign ships.
Whether flagship affects construction results or not is irrelevant.
