Compared to Dance club is Shudan! something under my read radar.
The grade school soccers remind me with captain Tsubasa.
Hopefully we will see eng scan soon, 4chan /a/ has did the translation of chapter 1.

I liked the first chapter. Always room for a good soccer manga, especially one about grade-schoolers and seemingly free of the superpower nonsense you sometimes get in WSJ sports manga.

Is that true that there was no successful soccer manga in WSJ since Captain Tsubasa? Previous one was canned in ONE volume.
I'm wishing good luck Yoko since I, who doesn't like sports manga, enjoyed first chapter. Robot should be axed.

Liked the second chapter, too. I worry for this series, since sports titles in WSJ that succeed seem to all have success targeting a demographic I don't think Shudan is going to get, but we'll see.

Wow, didn't think it would happen. Wonder if it'll go on middle school without Nanase or time skip until high school and make them meet again.

Just hope it won't stop, really liking it. And just love the art.

And thus the journey stop here, what a shame...so lot potential but WSJ audience ignored this manga so badly.
Well, from start light-hearted genre is not really the author knack. I think the author need to stop his fooling around on experimenting new genre and return to make another work like Onani master or Molester man.
He is truly shine when depict dark drama of human relationship

Such a shame, I quite liked it. But oh no, it's not to the taste of the WSJ audience who has superior manga taste.

Sarcasm aside, I really hope his next manga won't be in the WSJ. I know it's the most popular one and many mangaka want to be in it, but if it's to have your manga axed, might as well try a magazine which gives you more leeway.

Totally expected, but still sad news. I really enjoyed Shudan, but it was in the wrong publication for sure.
