Happy for Tsukasa's win - sad that it came at Hinagiku's expense. But Hinagiku proved that she does have strong core support and she should do even better next year when (hopefully!) HnG will get into more of the Hina-centric stories from the manga. I'm not sure yet who I'll vote for in the final - Hell, I'd have been happy with any one of the characters from the quarterfinals onward! But I'll probably do the same thing as in the last couple of matches and vote for whichever one I see getting the most negative/hateful comments.

The match pics for the final should be excellent. Plenty of images with the sisters together, as well as material from the series to draw from.

So it's true, the top KyoAni girls only lost to other KyoAni girls this year.

Kotomi -> Tomoyo
Konata -> Tomoyo
Tomoyo -> Kagami
Kyou -> Kagami
Nagisa -> Kagami
Fuuko -> Tsukasa
Kagami <-> Tsukasa

Quick match poster is quick.

And what could of been had 42 (the answer to life, the universe, and everything) more people voted for Hina...

Hopefully. I'll check things out and see if it's less of a failure next year, and if it is, I'll participate again.

Seriously though, this is just a joke. Tsukasa and Kagami? The top two?
Might just be Lucky Star's incredible popularity, but Hinagiku was the last decent character worth voting for. Came close too, what a shame.

Can't say I care who wins any more. Don't like either characters and didn't like Lucky Star very much.

Sorry, I'm just a bit angry, considering I spent a while voting this whole time only to have a Lucky Star finale.

Wow, you mean Tsukasa was ahead from the start? looks like the early rush in the morning was the only real difference. See, there was a very tactful use of fake voting to alter the reality..

Have the confirmed this total yet? I'm sure there are alot of people in the admin thread contesting things (like the roboposters? .. maybe they banned extra people in the process? probably).

Well congrats Tsukasa... it just seems weird to see two of the same series, and those two both Kyouani .. and that the vote totals are only near 1100. I mean they should be at least 1300...

As for the final.. it will be interesting to see... traditionally it has always been the one to draw the most action... in all aspects.. at this rate I am worried for Kagami.... this year it really feels like the masses have been more towards the Tsukasa archatypes...

Reading disgruntled responses on /a/ is deeply satisfying. They're blaming foreigners and animesuki for the result, of course.

I hope someone points them to our rush... it was almost purely HINA.

I keep thinking of support material.. but every time I do... I see ways it can help both causes.. the only good thing... I dont have to battle Hina vs Kagami in my mind... I was fearing that a bit.

but yeah.. we're an easy scapegoat, no? when in reality, I think it is the overly aggressive banning this year.... over-all the vote totals are way toooo low. I know some of it is apathy.. but still.. this year should have had more following..
