It's been a while since the last time I read it, but I think they just barely made it. Don't think there are good stopping point, tho.

I can't see OPM 2 to air before Fall 2017. Natsume and co. get their plate full with ACCA currently.

I think the latest manga chapter can be a good stopping point for a single cour while also setting up for a third season.

According to Crunchyroll, the web manga is being adapted. So there's plenty of material, but this would mean we wouldn't get any of the new developments Murata's manga had.

Wow. This is being announced far sooner than I was expecting. I was actually anticipating an attack on titan season 2 sort-of wait. I'm so glad to be wrong.

On another note, it's nice to see OPM's english dub on AS seems to be getting strong ratings too. Because it's success means that the interest level of this anime has never been any higher than it is right now. So that's no doubt gotta motivate the powers that be into capitalizing on the opportunity by resuming production as soon as possible.

Hearing a second season totally caught me by surprise. I'm ecstatic but worried. Here's hoping the manga/or web-comic have progressed far enough by the season season's airing.

I checked in Wiki and apparently only 11 volumes were released? Will they add fillers? Also, I hope Genos wins a fight or something because he was always getting his ass kicked despite his calm attitude.

I think the adapted version would still be Murata version. It would be weird if it is changed.
FYI, Murata version is published as webcomic as well. That's why he can redraw all those chapter.

Murata need to pull his butt more to finish Garou arc, i believe anime taken the source from Murata version in respect to Murata, but murata opman currently half of garou arc with fillerfest.
If this on eaarly 2017 i am not sure how they will adapt the source
