Character Discussion - Kallen

Kallen isn't in normal jail though. It would have sucked at first, but once Nunnally came along she's gotten her own cell, a pretty dress,etc. Apart from the Suzaku incident, she's living better than some free people do.

I would have liked it if the conversation between her and Nunnally lasted more than 10 seconds though.

actually when your in jail its better then what she has
she has a dress and a chair
so what
she's alone almost all the time other then when nanali is there to talk to her (other people to talk to is kind of the only thing that makes prison tolerateble)
and she's in a huge fishtank
she's practicly on display
and as an add bonus she's in a building full of people who might want to harm her (she did kill plenty of them)
i think i would have prefered a normal cell if i were her
nanali is trying to be nice since she means well
but its not really the same

and the alone part ? (the rest of the nights were in cells next to each other so i must assume thats how britannian prisons are built)

She'd have likely been confined alone in either case. A normal prison also has other problems, at least while she's with Nunally it'll be harder for someone to just go in and beat her.

KoR are not normal people or regular guards. Everyone else would need Nunnally's permission.

Kallen has to escape soon, maybe this guy will play a part in it, whether he intends to or not. I wouldn't mind seeing Kallen have her own little Just as Planned moment.

The KoR receives orders from the Emperor directly, and Charles seems busy as of now. I doubt that they would receive any orders from him in the near future (unless CG does a short time skip).

They can act independently.

But they can't act against Nunally, as she is both governor and royal. He can, at best, taunt Kallen. But unlike Suzaku, who had a pass to do whatever he wanted by Nunally, the new KoR does not.

I think the new KOR guy appears to her for probably to check out the ace of the BK or has something to do about the Guren.

Well, seems likely enough, though it might also be someone else - it isn't like he's the only KoR around...

Edit: However, he might not be saying it to Kallen - if the invasion of Japan starts in episode 16 and he partiparticles in that battle, then that too might be where he says it...

They said Kallen was going to be a Critical Character. How so? What next to expect from Kallen. one idea is that Maybe Kallen is the person that Lelouch needs the most right now. Someone who can be with him and not lie too. CC in her current state can't do it. Shirley could have and was willing but she is dead. WE really need Kallen to break out soon.'

Lol i just heard the Sounds episode. Kallens like Tsundere Lelouch lol that makes sense since KaLulu is really about role reversal.

If you listen to that part of the sound episode. All the girls said, "Nice" together. I love how they explained how all these girls seemed to know each other since in the story they have never met. Shirley's reactions were good as well.

Really I seriously want Kallen out. It's kind of boring just seeing tiny clips of her in jail. I want to see her back into the action. I will be disappointed if she escapes rather then getting busted out. It would feel like a waste of how Lelouch swore to get her back with his own hands. I know he's had his hands full. An escape would feel like a waste of such a dramatic proclamation.

Considering how Kallen's determination will challenged. I can also see the new KOR just trying to upset/get her mad since she didn't seem happy from episode's 16 preview. She'll probably break out due to that one train Lelouch used on Orange, its probably is almost close to being completed.

No it wouldn't. Kallen breaking out on her own or something similar will show that she isn't completely helpless and can actually accomplish things on her own without Lelouch holding her hand. It would be much better instead of a rescue IMO.

once he triggers the train system
tokyo goes dark
if kallen is being transfered from her cell during that time (the cell doesnt have anything except a chair so at the very least she'd have to be taken to the bathroom at some point) she can escape then using the blackout as cover to get to the guren
