Recommendations on PHP tutorial
I know that if I use google I can find a lot of sites with tutorials starting from basic and on. But I want to know if anyone here has any online tutorial that you would recommend. (presuming that you start from 0 knowledge of PHP)

The one on php.net. It is really easy to pick up and go if you are familiar with any similar languages.

My experience support bayoab's observation as well. I hadn't programmed since college, though I've used computers for many other applications over the years. I decided to teach myself PHP about a decade ago and started writing simple applications using those decidedly out-of-date programming skills. At that time PHP was around version 2 or 3 and was strictly procedural. That made it rather easy for someone like me with a background in languages like FORTRAN and PASCAL to pick up.
I think I'm a decent PHP programmer. I've built some rather complex database-driven sites using it, and I've learned how to use classes and objects. Most importantly, I think I write fairly secure code. Having never had any formal education in contemporary programming methods, I find books like Advanced PHP Programming that describe its new (version 5) object features pretty daunting. What I find most appealing about PHP is the incredibly wide array of functions it supports and the relative simplicity of its syntax.
