All is forgiven now that the twins are here, I was expecting more BATHS tucked in with twins but instead pleasantly surprised that they keep the whole twins introduction faithful.

Also,we're finally getting into war after new year break, don't hold your breath for the plot train.

Hmm no baths this episode. I was almost expecting one. The twins are adorable though, well ...sort of. Haku is a natural chick magnet.

<3 Sakura Ayane! And we get her two typical voices as well, one sounding deeper like Nao/Kaisei, and the other sounding higher pitched like Tear/Haru. Best of both worlds.

As for the plot, again nothing happens, just another addition to Haku's harem. But it's all well and good, as it seems they're being invaded next episode.

That was my thought as well. I didn't understand why people previously talked about the twins as questionable gender when the CGs I found left little room for questioning. With the original twins, they were always clothed except for one scene, and in that scene they were under a blanket and the position of their arms made cleavage a total question mark. Frankly, Neko's gender is more questionable than these girls'.
Oh well, these two are obviously going to be trouble. Bad enough to have willing slaves who openly declare themselves property and willing to serve in all capacities, but these girls seem like the kind that automatically assume all orders to be of a sexual nature. If I was him I'd sit them down that first night and tell them that only I could decide when, where and with whom I have "relations", so any attempts to "serve" me without direct, explicit verbal command were uncalled for and an offensive overstepping of one's boundaries. Otherwise, these two will take every single thing as a sign that he wants to try out some of those 108 techniques they mentioned.

Yeah, there is definitely no question about gender of these twins . The original show had plenty to make it harder to figure, but this is pretty straight forward about it.

Things are definitely going to get more complicated with those two entering the picture. Certainly some over the top moments with them and it's kind of funny how over the top they are.

Nice of the show to open up with basically an apology for the abomination that was the last episode.

Definitely a move that seems to hint that the Emperor intends to put Haku into an increasingly important position, if not eventually pass on leadership to him. Certainly with Anju as his only direct heir I wouldn't blame him for checking out some alternative options.

Also thanks for the show reminding me that Rurutie had more to her character than just the annoying BL girl. Cooking was actually part of her character, I completely forgot .

The Emperor is clearly intending to keep Haku close by using the opportunity whenever it presents itself to elevating him closer to the top circle.

The emperor obviously knows something about Haku that no one else seems to know. He was looking forward to seeing Haku at the end of his life. It is curious that no one in the kingdom has noticed between the similarities of Haku and emperor, concerning the ears. Also, I'm curious as to why Haku did not tell anyone that he actually knows the emperor previously.

As for the new priestess, what is the meaning of having those two be Haku's? If they will eventually become the head priestess, then what does that make Haku, who is their master?

I actually really enjoyed this episode, as more revelations are made. The inn is definitely getting crowded, but it is a fortress in itself, even if it is very beautiful and peaceful looking.

Next episode looks like when the action will finally begin. I definitely noticed that there is no preview. Also, it is interesting that the emperor said to kill every last invader. That does seem a bit ruthless, unless it is mistranslated again (like so often now with Crunchyroll).

Btw, no new episode next week. It will resume after New Years in 2 weeks.

Wow. Those twins are...quite something. I feel kinda bad both for Haku and them, in some ways.

On a side note...I would love to see a miffed Karula at Sacchan and Ucchan after their potential match and subsequent property damage. So, you say you had a contest of strength (and drinking fir that matter)? I see...

No one would believe him if he were to go around telling people that a lowly commoner like him have meet the emperor for a private little chat, also that would only invite more jealousy just like the Nyamo guy showed. Haku knows when to shut his trap to avoid bothersome things.

I'm just more wondering if that gives him any special status, or makes him in line for something big. The twins are called the Kamunagi of Chains for a reason. They must be really, really special, especially for Dekoponpo to be so upset.

It looks like their mother, the current head priestess, directly serves the emperor. If the emperor is a semi-divine individual that the head priestess serves, and the next head priestesses are bound to serve Haku, I believe the implication is fairly clear...

Also, to Nvis, just how is Haku a "playa"? Having two nymphomaniac aggressive ukes forced on you against your will and being unable to get rid of them doesn't make you a playa. Now, some of the other girls might work as evidence of this status, since they entered his semi-harem of their own accord, but not these girls.

On a different note, I liked the sidelong glare Kuon gave those girls. Either there's something about them that we don't know about but she does, or once again the creators are playing with us, slipping in hints of jealousy and thus interest to keep my favorite ship from sinking.

After last week's hilarious farce, this week's episode had a bit of a sour taste for me. Granted it did get better later on and the bit about Rurutie's cooking might have worked better if previous episodes hadn't neglected that aspect of her character. Still, the episode seemed a bit slow, a lot of the humor was kind of lame, and frankly some of the stuff with the twins just felt trashy. I'm good with some fan service, but the whole "you can do whatever you want with them, ha ha!" and "we're his flesh dolls" bits... how about a little more class/subtlety guys?
