After watching Dodgeball (great/funny movie) my friends and I decided to do a Naruto Dodgeball type thing, here's the sets of rules:

1. Team must 3 people of Genin to Chunin level.
2. Each team must have a girl.
3. Gaara is banned.
4. Any Jounin, or random person can be the coach, but only one coach.
5. You must explain why you chose, said team.
6. Any combination of villages is fine.
7. Haku & Zabuza and anyother dead ninja (execpt Yondaime) is selectable.
8. If you catch a ball you are NOT out (makes the game last longer) BUT if you catch a ball and a previous teammate is out, they can comeback in. (I added that as so you get a little feel of strategy when picking a team.)
9. No signature weapons, or kunai's allowed.
10. No player killing.
11. No summons allowed, but jitsu' are.

Remember, this is for FUN, please don't bash/flame other peoples teams. And remember explain WHY you would choose, who. I will add my team when I get back from class.

Neji - Byakugan gives him an almost unfair advantage in dodging
Sasuke - Ditto, replace Byakugan with Sharingan
Lee - Too fast for a gennin to hit

Team unhittable!

\/\/\/\/Curses! In that case replace Lee with....Ramen girl.

Hmm. Not sure if this kind of thing would be considered a forum game...
Oh well, if it is it'll be closed, if not it could be amusing for a bit.
So any genin or chuunin except gaara, with one being female eh? In that case Itachi, Haku, and well it doesn't really matter, so I'll go with Sakura.
Itachi can use tsukiyomi on the opposing team while haku picks them off. Sakura can be the cheerleader.

As for coach, they wouldn't really need one so I'll pick anko just because she seems like the type who would gloat about her team winning.

Yes, Itachi is a chuunin. I have a feeling Itachi will soon be banned from this too.

Heres my team
Coach: Gai- Hes fast like Lee sp he can teach the other members better taijutsu and running with weights on

Shikamaru- Shadow copies the opponents so his 2 team mates can hit them easily with balls.

Neji- His byakugan can see the balls and his spin move can stop them.

Tenten- She is good at throwing and never misses, so just pass the balls to her and she will throw with high accuracy.

Anbu isn't a rank, its a job. Itachi is a chuunin. heh heh Yes, I know my team in unfair, but it is within the rules set at the start.

Actually, Itachi is considered of Jounin level (he should be atleast) but he can a coach, and I forgot to add, coaches cannot interfere, and if this is a forum game, then I'm sorry, I thought it'd be fun to see what people's teams and reasons for choosing them would be.

Well my Team consists of:

Haku (I'm sure Haku can perform a type of Mist justu, and use the water to make mirrors)
Neji (Byakugan; can still see with the mist in the area)
Hinata (same as above)

Coach: Gai (so we may have the passion of youth!)

Well I don't know. I thought it would be an RPG type thing when I first saw this which I would close without a second thought. But this seems fairly lighthearted, and we sure could use some of them every now and then.

coach: kakashi he won't distract by cheering

temari: i just like her

shikimaru intelligent so our team will have a great line up

dosu: speed of sound unhitable

lee: verry fast and strong he'll hit annyone nobody can dodge coz they won't see it comming

Yes he should be considered a jounin, but he decided killing his clan and becoming a missing nin would be more fun than becoming a jounin, so he's still a chuunin. However, I expected you to change the rules about him, so just replace him with Sasuke and replace Sakura with Temari. Of course things still wouldn't be fair...

The rules say Gennin/Chuunin level not rank. Itachi is well beyond Chuunin level

Neji - Unhittable with Kaiten
Tenten - Best thrower
Lee - Too fast to be hit and can catch anything thrown at Tenten

Coach: Gai - Only one who can give Lee permission to take off the weights

the best team is Neji, Hinata and Haku or Sasuke. Neji ultimate defense, haku can teleport quickly to other places with the mirrors, Hinata and Neji can also see the ball at all times with their eyes. Sasuke with sharingan, but I would pick haku over him since the mirrors are very fast for moving

if this game of yours has similar rules to the dodge ball game played in Hunter x Hunter... then my team will be:

Coach -- Shikamaru: tactical reasons... everyone knows this dude is smart...

Naruto: kage-bunshins will be the key to victory... assuming that Naruto can maintain his chakra... I say, he replicates five copies of himself and places those clones on the outside in strategic positions... he can then pass the ball to his clones on the outside and attack the players on the opposing teams by surprise...

The Sound Nin Spider Guy: I forgot this guy's name... but his additional arms and web jutsus will make catching the ball much easier... his web jutsus can be used offensively like how Hisoka uses his nen abilitly... meaning... he can attach the ball to a web string... toss it at the opponents, then pull it back to his side....

Ino: she is basically filler on the team... but her special ability can come in handy... she can take control of another player on the opposing team and make that person lightly throw the ball back to her side...

- Hinata, I just dont like Neji...but I do like the Byakugan (and her)

Ultimate team:

Naruto: Uses Kage Bunshin to creat team naruto

Shikamaru: uses his shadow to freeze or control one opposing team member

Hinata: can see through any tricks the other team might be trying to pull

Coach: Jiraiya, probably cooler to see him cheer for the team

Shikamaru: Pin the enemies with his shadow, make them all step over the line! Game over! Plus, he's quick, too.

Naruto: Kage Bunshin...now we have infinite players. =)

Sakura: So she can get pegged in that big ol' forehead. It'll say "Wilson" backwards on her head for a week.

If I need a real player, I guess I'd go with Tenten or Temari.

Coach: Jiraiya. For the ever so important "post-victory massages and celebrations". He'd be able to acquire the best..."help".
