I like to think that it's a play on words like with Tokiha Mai literally being Mai-hime in that she's sister to Takumi.

If one was to say that Fumi is the 'Queen', then Mai having a nickname of 'Mai-hime' could mean 'Dancing Princess' in that she compares to Shinso in terms of Mai-Battle? So what, I'm a Mai-shipper

Well... In Mai-HiME, Mashiro was the Queen of Hell.

Well, looks like people over at Static-subs have heard of this poll. Or rather, people's loyalty to me wasn't as deep as I thought.

Democracy wins either way. The people have voted, and seems like "Performance" is edging out Mai-Battle by a bit.

I'd pick Performance, but the series is nearly finished, so... might be a bit late to consider changing it

Hrm. Yeah, Mai-Battle sounds like it'd fit the series the most.
