Here are the (power)chords... Note, I DIDN'T COME UP WITH THESE!! I just wrote it on notepad because the Powertab file is impossible to read cause there's just so many lines D:
Spoiler for U&I TV Size:
Ok, so listen up: I didnt want to write out a lot. When the measure only contains one chord, you follow this strumming pattern: Spoiler for strumming pattern:
Every other patterns there I hope is self-explanatory... The length is represented by the amount of spaces in there. I don't think I did a very good job explaining... Bleh... x_x Edit: For the intro riff, just use hirasawakevin9272's It's pretty much right. But here's the one that came with the tabs I got. Spoiler for Riff:
And this is where they're from http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11798049 Last edited by bloppyblue; 2010-08-18 at 23:50. |

Verse When you're not around I can't do anything. I want to eat the meals you make. If you came home with a smile on your face right now. I'd come and hug you. Pre-chorus If you're not around, I can't say I'm sorry. I want to hear your voice If I can just see your smile That's all I ask for. Chorus Just by being by my side You always give me courage Always and forever I want to be together I want you to understand my feelings On sunny days, and rainy days You were always by my side When I close my eyes Your smile Is shining brilliantly and thats about it...

To work on speed, I suggest practicing the motion of the strums at a slow tempo and slowly build up the tempo until you feel comfortable. Don't forget to keep it constant. You don't want an uneven beat. You can practice this anywhere, not just on the bass. For example, do a finger walking motion on a hard surface like a desk or a table. This will build finger strength. For the fret hand, do the same, but this can be harder especially when your starting out since your hands aren't used to pressing on the strings. I suggest you become familiar with the movements your hand should make, then bring it up to speed. I hope that helped. |
