Sturgeon's law: 90% of anything is crap. ;p
In reality, there is a wide range, and it all depends on what you are looking for, and what you'll accept. Transformer II: Revenge of the Fallen had a number of plot holes and stupid actions. But the robot bashing sequences were fun to watch, so one could still enjoy it, if all one wanted was to see robots kicking ass. I like to call these the "cheap candy action movies." You know they are lacking in nutrition, but you don't consume it for nutrition. You just want to watch robots (people) kick the crap out of each other. On the other hand, you get series which try to advertise themselves as nutrition, so we hold them to a higher standard. At least, I tend to. So I suppose that's part of my issues with this series, because it seemed to advertise itself as something more, so glaring errors stand out and ruin my intake of it much more. |

http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/bestselle...ef=pd_ts_d_nav Currently top 4 pre-order animation ranking swept by Madoka Magica for the FIRST time, followed by IS and Gundam U. Overall, the highest is volume 1 with 2nd place ranking, the lowest is volume 3 with 11th place.

A couple of hours ago, Madoka have tied with M. of Haruhi (at episode 12) for being the highest number of 2ch threads (464 threads -> 464 * 1000 posts). Any new threads till the end of the series are adding to the new record. Of course, Haruhi still lead in total number of threads.

There's a funny thing I noticed about the Grief Seeds: after I watched that big mashup between this show and Inception, well... Grief Seeds, being able to stand on their own, they bore a resemblance to "totems".
And then Mami's final battle looked like it came straight out of NGE Episode 24. Because of her character's short life span, is she's playing a Kaworu Nagisa here?

so, QB was really amoral. whatever Evil thing that appears Evil to us that he does,he does it neither w/ nor w/o ill-intent. yeah, guess he's really amoral.. XD and he is the kind of antagonist that is hard to label and sway into doing the right thing in human morality standard. i say, QB is the best 'villain' i've ever heard of. XD

"...dream and hope." Reminds me much of the bittersweet ending of Leon/The Professional.
As for QB, let's say apart from being close to Goethe's Mephistopheles, he's also close to Satan in Twain's Mysterious Stranger (I read that, too).
