Isnt Yuji 16? Since he did say that Shana was somewhere around his age, and also taking into account his school life which remains mostly anonymous.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Shana younger that Yuji when she became a Flame Haze? Hence her... Current physical stature? I seem to recall something like that in her backstory... Still, my memory is a bit fuzzy...

Shana was I believe somewhere between the range of 10-12 (or maybe lower) when she became a Flame Haze. I personally believe she was 11.

Shana is an eternal loli with everlasting youth. I am sure that almost all of us would love to stay young forever like Shana.

Hooves In my personel opinion I like to believe that she was 11-13 while she made the contract. Because im 17 ( <- it's on the side duh) and ill tell you she was definititly NOT 9 or 10. And back when I watched the show i was like 12? 13? which was like 7th grade. So call me wierd but by her body and the way she thinks and acts she seems to fit in that 11-13 category. I think it's harder for older people to understanad siince they don't remember the age differences as well as younger people. But I had an age group to compare her to, so it's safe to say she was 11, 12, or 13 when she started the contract.

Yuji was 15 when the story started. The beginning of the story is his start of freshman year of high school. Second season was second semester. So now he's 16. When season 3 starts he could be 17 Im not sure. Not like it matters though. He doesn't age. Johan didn't, yuji won't either. Besides it'll work better for the story since shana can't age either. You know? Live forever? Together? Without aging? It's perfect.

So 15 year old loving a 13 year old? That's fine with me. Nothing wierd. Nor awkard. (thank god) Their both mentally about the same age though. Yuji I think is a little older.

BUT

I DO like to think that shana grew and yuji grew physically. Call me crazy but they look older. Definitly. Maybe it's the way their animated, but I'm not sure. That's just my opinion though.

Besides, would they really put leather pants on a 9 year old?

There's no way she could be under 12. At 9 or 10, her chest area wouldn't be that developed. I would say she had to have been 12 to 13 by the time she made the contract.

Actually, it hasn't been a long while since season two came about two years later after season one, and the new OVA chapters for 2nd season came about another two years later after season 2.

I assume that this would be the final series, but for the anime. In no way it means that this is going to be the final for the entire story narrated in the novels, right?

Well, OVA is no substitute for a TV season.

He's basically asking if they will plan more Shakugan no Shana (anime) while the light novels finish up. Something like a new season completely anime original. But this is the last season, and that's been made very clear to all of us.
