uh.... lots of great actions, but for the first, it's also the first episode with lots of humour! I really like the bit when Karuta debates between beef and pot, and when he and Kuon suddenly have a common interest and start discussing about their favourite show. lol.

I didn't expect Karuta to die though, that's a real shame.
well, I suppose can't expect much from a 13 episodes anime.

Finally I watced it,It is interesting enough.both Kuro and Kuromitsu are called “vampires” in the translation I watched. I wonder if the group sees itself as simultaneously a vampire hunting agency as well as trying to create synthetic vampires. They are all certainly obsessed with blood.
Kuromitsu is deadly as a vampire, but for most of the show, she seems mostly powerless and cannot fight anyone, except when she drugs people and kill them, but really, we don’t know how she gets her victims for food. In episode 7, we see that she can fight with a sword.
This show like novel of Anna Rice with brutal action scenes and the voice actors
are great too.

Karuta's death is so depressing...they may not have focused on it much considering the situation at the moment but it felt so sudden and sad...well I did see it coming after he was shot then nearly hypnotised by the damn turtle.

I just can't believe that it actually happened to the only "cheerful" character in the series. His death will not be forgotten

And yes it was another outstanding episode...you just got to love the fight scene here with the flaming, spinning turtle of death

Too bad the series is so short...I hope there will be a second season as it doesn't seem like there would be enough episodes left to "wrap" anything up. Come to think...I don't even get the plot of this series XD

yeah, he's the only cheerful and funny guy in the series. It's too soon to take him out!!

Kuromazo's death makes him seem more harmless than the hype. Still the spinning, flaming turtle thingie is cool to watch.

Director uses his gimmicks from Death Note (dramatic shaking camera, dramatic pause) and the effect turn the scenes funnier than intended or expected.
Kurozuka was really the last anime where I expect to see this kind of light-hearted, seeing the tone that have been set since the beginning. However, it just made what came next more depressing. This crowned the content of the 9th episode: badass car chase, badass use of bike you'd usually see from John McClane and badass fighting.
The end is drawing near and it is making me sad.

This is a breath of fresh air from most of the relatively lighter series this season. Kuromitsu, in addition, is also quite attractive, which adds to the series's appeal more.

Well, that was fun. specially liked Kuon's little fight sequence near the end.

Still, think this whole "you're not really Kuro" business is a red herring, all his 'dreams' of pre-modern Japan wouldn't make a lick of sense otherwise. Not to mention they had Kuromitsu walking around with a severed head again.

Just a few episodes left now. Hope they can keep the action up.

So, the reason why we've seen Kuro headless so many times is because he needs to change body every 100 years, and he loses his memory because of it --- finally that part of the show has been cleared up.

I was surprised that Kuon was working for the red army all along, though i was even more surprised with the fact that Kuromistu was over seeing the creation of him. My original speculation was that she'll end up being the end main evil source in all of this, but still we need to find out why she's spent so long with Kuro. It may just be all for some grand plan, though it kinda breaks me to think the love they shared was never true. I hope i'm wrong with this.

The revealations dropped over my face like tetris blocks, in a good way. They served a purpose, helping to clear up some of the unexplained points in the earlier episodes. Man, I love this series.

Glad to see things seem to be hanging together .... I was terribly concerned this would end up being a beautiful tragedy (as in a story trainwreck with pretty pictures) but I think I'm going to be very satisfied with this series.

The "Head-changing"-thing didn't come to my surprise, I expected something like that.
What hurts me most is, Kuro being betrayed by Kuromitsu for a 1000 years time span. How I think it's betrayal, you ask? She must be some sorta succubus, considering how she "seduced" Kuon. So, I think it was the same for Kuro. She might did take a liking into him, but she maybe got tired of all his memory loss and the head changing. So, she agreed to "develop" the ultimate Kuro (=Kuon, quote Kuromitsu: "He does look so much like him") and somehow, she must have abandoned Kuro, since she was gone for 20 years without ever contacting him/looking for him.
I mean, this really makes me a sad panda, since Kuromitsu is very attractive and Kuro a naive, but not bad man, who really thinks that this is pure, eternal love and that's why he's on a journey to find her/get her back.
I don't need an happy end, but I hope it just works out well/somewhat satisfying in the end.

I just watched ep 9. Well, I don't know if it's just me but I did actually not like this episode that much at all. It had some good parts but overall I just found it having too many logical gaps during all the action scenes. It was quite nicely animated though, the CG stood out a bit but not at all too much to be annoying.

I actually started to wonder if this was gonna be a filler episode

Well after seeing the 10th episode...

Spoiler for 9th & 10th episode of the anumey 'Kurozuka':

...it made a little bit more sense how they managed to infiltrate that place in ep. 9. I thought it was just low how they could have dodged all the attacks from the tanks and the airborne stuff. But since they had Kuon with them as an undercover bad guy and they actually wanted them to get inside the fortress, it makes a little bit more sense. That way they could have actually missed deliberately in order to let them arrive alive.

But then I wonder why they started to close the bridge and basically killed off all of their own tanks standing on it. Probably cause they wanted a cool scene. I actually liked that scene alot :P. Anyways, ep 10 was cool. Nice with some more feed fore the story.

Well, looks like Kuon completely went off the deep end. That fight scene made perhaps a little too much use of static images. Here's hoping the budget is going for epic final battle. It was quite weird to see the Noh company at the top. And poor Rai.

I'm a little cautious about how this is going to end, now to wait for the subs to understand what was going on.

man, Kuon's gone totally crazy in this episode! and for a moment I thought it was the original Kuon... um, still not sure, really. But everyone's dead at this point except Kuro. The ending of the episode echoes the beginning, showing the masked guy heralding some sort of an end.

wonder whether Kuro'll be fighting Kuromitsu in ep 12? but what for?

Wow amazing episode !We know who is Kuon and wtf he doing that with kuromitsu !
So kuromitsu is a bitch?we know that she kill man for living with kurou but she works with the enemy !
