New Tortus Travel chapter is up. This time they've escaped the den of evil and are heading to Ul with Lily accompanying them. Pope Simon even made an appearance and stirred up some trouble by asking about Yuuka.(I sure hope they don't cut her part from the anime)

The only one i remember is Taeko Sugawara the Whip user and another friend of Yuka (the one with who is a Closet Sadist).

Edit: Looked and found the other one, Akito Nimura was also removed from the Manga.

Except David Zahler, all the other 'named' Knights (from the WN/LN) have been removed in the Manga adaptation.

@borisdrakoni: Can you tell me if the Skill "Flash Step" referred in the translated LN v09 by J-Novel is the same one as "爆縮地" in the WN (its the derivative skill of "Supersonic Step" [縮地]). Its used by Shizuku, Kouki and Ryutarou.

Thought so. I now remember that when I read the manga chapter, I noticed right away only the most prominent knight had remained.
I believe the same may happen in the anime, if only to spare extra VAs, when they already have Yuuka and the other students along.

Based on the raw text, the translator seems to be interchanging the terms Flash Step and Supersonic Step. Bakushukuchi(爆縮地, lit. Ground Implosion) isn't used at all in the volume. The skill mainly being used in volume 9 is just Shukuchi(縮地, lit. Ground Contraction, the skill Hajime uses against the bear in the PV) and occasionally Juushukuchi(重縮地, lit. Greater Ground Contraction).

Well, even in the WN, Bakushukuchi (爆縮地) isn't used that much either.
Its only mentioned 3 times in the WN Raws until now (excluding Chapter 122, were its mentioned under Kouki, Shizuku and Ryutarou stat info).

The times it has been mentioned in WN is when Kouki used it against Hajime during the last Labyrinth trial (should be v10 content). After that its been mentioned twice being used by Inaba.

As for Juushukuchi (重縮地), its i think translated as "Continual Steps" by J-Novel.

The nature of the translation process requires that certain liberties be taken in order for the work to make sense in the local language. It's just that some translators take more liberties than others.

By the way, I find it quite funny how a clear view of the author's face is never shown even in the official press photographs. The picture is always either taken from behind him, or someone is blocking the view to his face. Reminds me of a certain character with an incredibly thin shadow. On the other hand, RoGa looks like dudes I went to high school with. Wasn't expecting the ponytail.

The special talk show was interesting, but didn't give any new info. The cast mainly just talked about their impressions of the characters and the promotional events currently going on.

The announcement clearly stated that they were only live streaming the talk show portion. The early episode screening was only for the people who bought tickets and went to the venue. Well, Docomo Anime Store is streaming episode 1 early too, but only for the first 500 members who access it. Not even I feel like going through that much trouble just to watch the episode a day early.

Oh, so it mentioned that it would cover only the Talk Show part.
I initially thought that, but then someone told me that it said that they would stream the episodes as well (well this misunderstanding wouldn't have happened if only my reading ability was good).
