Jazz? What about R & B and funk?

What about DISCO!?! That is my favirote genre, and I think it should be on there.

I love classical and pop but classical for me is the best.

It helps get rid of stress

Agreed. Jazz is incomplete without R & B and funk.
But anyway, there's probably too many genres of music to fit in the poll.

But anyway, favourites would be Jazz, Classical and Pop. Just about any type of music fits into pop.

It used to be Underground Hip-Hop, but I don't actually have a favorite anymore. I like all of the genres that I listen to these days, which are:

Doujin, Modern Classical, Ambient, Rock, Instrumental, etc.

I have very eclectic taste in music. First and foremost Electronic dance music of all kinds, because production quality in EDM is usually top priority and not some image in some scene. I also like top 40/pop(many regions-K/J and US of course), rock, hiphop, funk, rap, alternative, RnB, jazz, classical, even country(ZomgZ), video game music(i.e sin waves etc.) I don't even know what I really like because I'm always finding new things to love. Depends who I'm around mostly, I can get into whatever. I just dig the vibrations!

**shameless promotion** for some free J-core mixes! (aka Japanese hardcore) Here... http://waxdj.com/djs/7082/

The top 4 mixes are J-core. Some anime and well known J-pop acts sampled within.

mine would be a tossup between psychadelic ( both electronic and indie) and classical. thats just me now though, in a few months i may go through a metal phase again. theres nothing i mind as such, except rap with stupid lyrics about stupid things - i do think rap is really good when its good though.

Gosh, that poll is way too small. And I'm even forced to vote for only one genre! Blasphemy!

A'ight, writing it here will have to do. I'll give a few examples because I'm quite selective about the stuff I listen to.

Classical, Electronic (Depeche Mode), Heavy Metal (Judas Priest only), Chillout, Funky House, Jazz and Rock (Poets of the Fall, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top).

My favourite genre in music will be rock because most of the songs I like listening to are rock. I do listen to other genres too like Rap, Reggae or Trance but nothing beats rock! ^_^

As funny as it may sound, I'll have to say Soundtracks. All my life I've listened to anything I wanted without any shame - pop, rap, rock, metal, r&b etc. - but what I really like are those dramatic, touching, powerful or plain fun soundtracks that I can associate with a certain situation or character.

So for instance, right now my playlist consists of something like this:
-Clannad
-Fate/stay night
-Bladerunner (movie)
-Narcissu
-and K-ON! soundtrack

Yeah, this isn't exactly a music genre, but you'll agree that this stuff is different than regular music. It's rather meant to emphasize certain moments or scenes so when I listen to it, it's a visual experience as well.

The ones I also like are OSTs from games like Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape: Torment (though I got kind of sick of those); then there's the "training music" - Dragonball Z american soundtrack, Fight Club's soundtrack...

There are of course, many, many other single tracks from movies, animes or video games.
