Spoiler for My opinion on eva beatrice card:

The way I see it, Eva "reverted back" to her old self and grew selfish with the gold, and headship. Also I looked up a summary of the tarot card. "Death card is far more likely to signal transformation, passage, change." That is a transformation/change, even if it is in a negative way. She blames herself and created a end to current life. Her husband was killed, and her son. Which I think that qualifies as an end to a relationship.

Also from battler's standpoint, it seemed like a significant end to the way the games were. Since someone had solved, and ended the riddle of the epitaph.

About the death card doesn't fit her character. Since there are are many interpretations of this story. Its kinda redundant to argue. So saying it doesn't fit a character, when a lot of answers have yet been revealed is biased on how you interpreted the story thus far. This discussion that it doesn't fit a character you don't know everything about is premature, and a waste of time.
