Yeah. The author mentioned (somwhere in the middle of it) that it is gonna have 11 chapters and the last one looked end-like and was the 11th.

Not everyone. The MC had just really bad luck with (eye for) chosing his allies.

The rabbit: Lived with her mother in a secludedd village. They both were hiding being bestman by illusion magic. Once she and her friend (girl) went to a forest to collect something (fruit I think). Because of her friend they went too far and met rather strong monster. The rabbit saved her friend, but had to use beastman powers and so the illusion magic broke. The friend promised to keep it secret.
Few days later they got found out. Her friend spread the information about her being a beastman to get a guy that has fallen for the rabbit (he did not help her too btw. and was with the friend). The rabbit and her mother got stoned (the village was fairly racist even for that kingdom) and she and her mother got sold as slaves (her father said he knew nothing and cut all ties with them if I am not mistaken). Her mother died during the way (it was more of a public lynch than traveling, the two were made into examples of how bad it might get, and all the other slaves felt quite good seeing someone is in much worse situation and supported the lynch).

As for some lighter story. The rabbit is yandere with a few a bit perverted habits she is fairly skillfully hiding from the MC. For the time being she is cleverly plotting (with small but steady successes) to ensnare the MC, while giving utmost care not to let him notice and run away from her webs (emotional level, no real abduction or such). More of a spider than rabbit if we considder the steadyness ower excess progress in her planning .
Btw. poison user and excellent cook. Both of afforementioned abilities she uses with bright smile, often in the same time though (that is the time when she smiles brightest).

Absolutely no chance; since it's obvious that she'll direct her insanity towards planning revenge on maoh-chan for tainting the MC even in this continuity.
