I'm gay myself and when it comes to anime I usually find yuri to have the better plots. I'd kill to watch a yaoi that wasn't a gag show or didn't feel like it was written by some fan girl...

Whether it's Yuri or Yaoi, it really doesn't matter, as long as there's enough cuteness (I especially prefer loli/shota). Traps and reverse traps are also fine.

Personally, I don't understand why so many people get offended by these things. I find them awesome.

I'm not offended by it, I just don't like how people take it too far. If the characters featured clearly have no romantic attraction to one another then why depict that they do? The only reason I can think of is to satisfy perverted fantasy, and that's just disgraceful.

(And BTW, I know homosexuality is common and normal in our modern society and I have nothing against it. It's not my place to judge somebody by that. Just making sure you know that.)

I used to support yuri, but the shenanigans from a very vocal part of the Nanoha fandom have come to disgust me of it. And then they cries about homophobia? Gimme a break.

Why not? Having the same pairings all the time is pretty boring, in my opinion. Random pairings make things more interesting.

Being honest here I'd take yuri over yaoi anyday, altho saying that I'm not exactly agianst yaoi.
Well the problem lies in whether one puts one's love for traps into yaoi cause while I'm not gay I can't help but love my traps

Yea, it's a pretty twisted world we live in but what I care when certain characters looks like so
