Gotta love the giant robot sitting in on a military meeting and yelling out his name. I also love how Bravern kept interrupting poor Hal .

Look, I get there's a lot of questions about Bravern and Isami, I get interrogating him...but waterboarding? Torture? From Cho? I know this is the US government, but come on .

Okay, so the Deathpiercer's are our antagonist, an alien mechnoid threat that evolved to the point of conquering other planets...but that still begs the question of what Bravern is and why he hates them so much. Is he one of them that rebelled? Is that why he got so testy when they accused him of being one of them ?

Ha! The Giant Robot speaks German !

I see Isami's mechanic has fallen in love with Bravern and his specs. He IS handsome .

Bravern is waxing poetic about his meeting with Isami and him entering into his cockpit in the most flowery sexual language possible...while Isami is still getting tortured. Yeah, I don't think Isami had quite the same feelings about their first encounter .

So the Rival Unit finally appears! Superbia! I'm guessing all the other elite Deathpiercer units in the OP are at the other towers .

Just transforming into hovercar form out of nowhere, just normal Super Robot things !

That poor knuckle TS looked so cool! But it shouldn't have picked a fight with a Boss !

Did anyone else notice Superbia seemed kind of confused by Bravern recognizing him (or her) ?

Of course the eyecatch is Bravern doing the Obari Pose .

Human weaponry is still powerless against the Deathpiercer's. Bravern can defeat the small fry by himself, but he can't fight at 100% without Isami. And Isami is the only person who can pilot him no matter how much Lewis wants to be a Super Robot protagonist .

I wish Lewis had beat up those torturers. I hate how they got to smile at the end when their mental torture of Isami almost screwed the entire Earth. Now Isami wants nothing to do with Bravern or piloting a Super Robot and he needs Lewis' emotional support to even get in and do anything. I'm not sure this is a very healthy dynamic .

I love Bravern changing the Finisher Name on the fly because of course he does !

I'm guessing that girl Lewis found on the beach is actually Superbia's core/pilot? Is that true for all the Deathpiercer's? Is Lewis going to pilot Supberia ?

So the OP is Bravern singing, but the ED is Isami and Lewis singing it...complete with stripping shirtless to serenade the audience .

not sure the ED is a jab at Masami Obari's past works where his male characters gave off "homoerotic" undertones..........

Energetic OP followed by Ballad ED is Super Robot staple but how it flows into an intense handholding is like saying it's time for tsukkomi.



Sugita is on enemy side, wished he can return as MC super robot voice like when he voiced Gladion for DD.

Isami's treatment despite saving the day, regardless of how harsh I think it is, is a bit too realistic, I mean a guy pilots a mech that similar to what was destroying your forces just moments ago, of course you're going to want answers no matter what.

Certainly a switch from the, Super Robot saves the day and the pilot is instantly a hero.

You see how Bravern waxes lyrical about Isami piloting him? The homoerotic undertones are strong with this one .

It was an insanely stupid move to torture the guy who saved your forces from being annihilated (aside from completely useless, as torture doesn't work, as real life studies have shown... bad story writers are still enamored with using it as some solve-all took).
