Hmm on mangaupdates it says the series is already complete/done at 4 volumes:

Could be wrong I've seen some series info being wrong.

The thing about twists is that good ones come when the story needs it the most. In the case of Doubt, we really didn't need this last twist. The story could have kept going off the previous one and the result would still be the same. Sure, the concept of this latest reveal is cool, and there is already foreshadowing of another twist ahead, but since pretty much the entire thing has been laid out for us it just feels like the author is stuck in the Scooby Doo endless mask scenario (keep pulling the mask off the same guy over and over but it's a new villain every time).

This reminds me a lot of Liar Game, which isn't murder based, but has more satisfying twists in the plot.

Series is indeed complete. Ended on the 13th. Decent ending, not exactly unexpected, though.

Translation's done and it should be released pretty soon.

"Already"? Honestly, I think it should have been 3 volumes instead of 4... it's not like it was canceled or anything. It's just a shorter manga.

I would have shortened everything after the wolf was revealed. Since the point of the story is "who is it", the longer you know who it is, the less impact it has on the reader. I think the wolf's explanation should have been one, perhaps two chapters at most, instead of the 4 chapters that they got. Everything up to that point was wonderful, though, and if you're reading the story straight through, you don't get the feeling of the story being stretched, but there are lots of fans who have been reading monthly chapters ever since chapter 11, so the ending, which took 5 months, was pretty anti-climactic.

I did like the ending, though... I prefer open-ended mysteries more than ones that are wrapped up in a pretty bow with no questions left to answer.

well , doubt ends. It was a fun ride , many thanks to the snoopy team .
Now about the ending , well , I can't say it wasn't expected , but I dunno , I feel it wasn't necessary to make 3 chapters to reach that conclusion. I'll have to re-read when/if it ever gets licensed .

Been following this for a while now and I just read the last chapter. Overall it was an ok ending I guess, but I kind of wish for a happy ending between Yuu and Mizuki, guess that was not going to happen. This ending is still ok though and in the end it was a good read. Hopefully the author's next work will be even better.

Oh ya and thanks snoopy for the scans.
